Happy Notre Dame Day!

SITE NEWS: I apologize for not posting a Notre Dame preview. It’s been a busy week. I worked 11 hours on Monday, 14 hours on Tuesday, 12 hours on Wednesday, 17 hours on Thursday, and 15 hours on Friday. Just your standard 5-day, 69-hour work week.

My prediction isn’t very rosy, anyway. I’m picking Notre Dame in a 28-24 victory.

I hope I’m wrong.

Visitors: Michigan vs. Notre Dame

Andrew Gentry (image via Twitter)

2020

Reece Atteberry – C – Aurora (CO) Eaglecrest: Atteberry is committed to Michigan (LINK).

Blake Corum – RB – Baltimore (MD) St. Frances: Corum is committed to Michigan (LINK).

Eamonn Dennis – WR – Shrewsbury (MA) St. John’s: Dennis is committed to Michigan (LINK).

Andrew Gentry – OT – Littleton (CO) Columbine: Gentry is a 6’8″, 310 lb. prospect with offers from BYU, Michigan, Notre Dame, and Stanford, among others. He’s a 4-star, the #6 offensive tackle, and #61 overall. All 14 crystal ball picks are for BYU, where his brother also plays. Gentry is expected to go on his Mormon mission after high school, so he probably wouldn’t enroll until 2022.

Jaylen Harrell – DE – Tampa (FL) Berkely Prep: Harrell is a 6’4″, 235-pounder with offers from Alabama, Auburn, Florida State, Miami, and Michigan, among others. He’s a 4-star, the #14 weakside end, and #299 overall. Only two crystal ball picks have been made so far: one for Florida and one for FSU. This is an official visit.

Michigan vs. Penn State Awards

Ronnie Bell (image via Wolverines Wire)

Let’s see more of this guy on offense . . . Ronnie Bell. Maybe this is an emotional reaction to the backlash Bell received for dropping the potential game-tying or game-winning pass on Saturday night, but I thought the kid played very well overall. He caught 5 passes for 82 yards, he blocks, and he earns yards after the catch. He’s Michigan’s version of Julian Edelman. And yes, that means he’s Michigan’s best receiver.
