Tonight is Super Bowl LIII, the New England Patriots vs. the Los Angeles Rams. I think the Rams have more talent, but obviously Tom Brady and Bill Belichick are a pretty lethal combination, too. I’m going to be very interested in seeing whether the Patriots’ offensive line can keep Rams’ defensive tackles Aaron Donald and Ndamukong Suh out of the backfield. If the Patriots don’t scheme a way of keeping Donald out of Brady’s face, then I think it’s going to be a tough night. The Rams have the best receiving corps in the league, and I don’t think the Patriots’ defensive backs can keep up, so I think New England’s going to have to score a bunch to keep up. My prediction: Rams 34, Patriots 26.

Lo and behold, Stephen Holder wrote about blocking Aaron Donald (LINK), and Ted Nguyen wrote about how the Patriots might stop him (LINK).

I don’t think the Pats defence is going to hold the Rams to 20 points; unless maybe the first half………

Yeah, I’m with Thunder; NE needs to put up a bunch of points and early.
Belichick needs to come out 4 wide with Brady back in punt formation use the long snapper and Tommy can just lob in the bombs………

Donald & Suh will be wore out by half time tryin to run that far to get to Brady.

Well I missed the first quarter and the first 5 minutes of the 2nd cause I got absorbed into researching Colorado Buff Pottery shards as produced by the local Native Americans that lived in what is now the desert in SE Cali.

Anyway finally thought I should start watching the game having missed much of the first half and after tuning in immediately realised I hadn’t missed Anything! Haha. Yep! The Super Bowl is reverting back to its days of yore when it was a Super Bore! Gawd even the announcers totally suck – making me wana take an Old Man Nap………..

Doesn’t Gary Danielson work for CBS ?? I realy think he’s an excellent game commentator, Why in the hell isn’t he calling this thing. At least he’d put a lil life into it. Gawd the NFL is just a horrible product.

I’m going back to reading about ancient artifacts & pottery shards……intjohn
