Just finished watching a very hard fought highschool playoff game between Coldwater and Chelsea. Is it too much to ask for a 25 second clock visible to both teams? The refs didnt do a very good job of monitoring it. Side judge gifted a turnover to Chelsea latein 4th qtr. Game changingbad call. Ground cannot cause a fumble……ughhhhh

Yeah, the play clock is a HUGE issue at fields where there’s no visible play clock. We happen to have one, but only one other school in our district does. So we have a play clock for half of our games, but the other ones… You can take forever to get a play off, and the officials have no idea.

High school officiating is not very good, but at least those guys are willing to do it. A lot of places are short on officials.
