Olathe (KS) North safety Isaiah Simmons

Nick Eubanks – TE – Plantation (FL) American Heritage: Eubanks is a 6’6″, 230 lb. prospect with offers from Alabama, Florida, Georgia, LSU, Miami, and Michigan, among others. He’s a 247 Composite 3-star, the #15 tight end, and #366 overall. Michigan was thought to be out of the running at one point, but things have heated up between the two parties over the last week. He will be in Ann Arbor on Wednesday and Thursday.

Lavert Hill – CB – Detroit (MI) King: Hill is a 5’10”, 172 lb. prospect with offers from Michigan, Michigan State, and Penn State, among others; those are his three finalists. The former Penn State commit is a 247 Composite 4-star, the #12 cornerback, and #135 overall. He plans to announce on National Signing Day. This is an unofficial visit.

Isaiah Simmons – S – Olathe (KS) North: Simmons is a 6’3″, 205 lb. prospect with offers from Clemson, Kansas, Michigan, Missouri, and Nebraska, among others. He’s a 247 Composite 4-star, the #16 safety, and #327 overall. He picked up a Michigan offer just a couple weeks ago, and he’s taking a mid-week visit to Ann Arbor since he plans to officially visit Clemson this coming weekend.

While it’s always a fluid situation, and predicting the decisions of high schoolers is a bit of a fool’s errand, I am nothing if not a fool. So here’s my look at the current recruiting class and who could end up filling some additional spots.

Ellenwood (GA) Cedar Grove linebacker Elysee Mbem-Bosse committed to Michigan on Sunday night. He chose the Wolverines over offers from Alabama, Auburn, Florida, LSU, Notre Dame, Oklahoma, and Oregon, among others.

Mbem-Bosse is 6’3″, 232 lbs. He claims a 4.58 forty.

Uche is a 6’2″, 212 lb. He claims a 4.59 forty. As a senior in 2015, he made 50 tackles, 14 sacks, 2 forced fumbles, and 3 pass breakups.
