Nashville (TN) Ensworth linebacker Mason Curtis, a 2024 prospect, committed to Michigan on Monday. He picked the Wolverines over offers from Kentucky, Louisville, Ole Miss, South Carolina, and Tennessee, among others.
Jaiden Ausberry – LB – Baton Rouge (LA) University Laboratory: Ausberry is a 6’2″, 210 lb. prospect with offers from Alabama, Georgia, LSU, Michigan, Notre Dame, Ohio State, and Texas, among others. He has taken officials to Auburn, Notre Dame, and Texas A&M. Ausberry ranks as a 4-star, the #4 outside linebacker, and #80 overall. The FutureCast has him headed to LSU, but his older brother Austin signed with Auburn in the class of 2022.
Jalen Brown – WR – Miami (FL) Gulliver Prep: Brown is a 6’2″, 178-pounder with offers from Georgia, LSU, Miami, and Michigan, among others. He’s a 4-star, the #6 wide receiver, and #44 overall. Brown has a connection to former Michigan great Desmond Howard, but he also has connections elsewhere. LSU and Miami are also considered to be strong contenders for his services.
Malachi Coleman – DE – Lincoln (NE) East: Coleman is a 6’5″, 196 lb. athlete with offers from Georgia, Michigan, Oklahoma, and Oregon, among others. He’s a 4-star, the #2 athlete, and #96 overall. Coleman took an official visit to Nebraska earlier this month and the FutureCast has him as a future Cornhusker.
Omillio Agard – CB – Philadelphia (PA) St. Joseph’s: Agard is a 6’0″, 170 lb. prospect with offers from Georgia, LSU, Notre Dame, and Penn State, among others. He’s a 4-star, the #6 cornerback, and #45 overall. St. Joseph’s is the alma mater of former Michigan offensive lineman Jon Runyan, Jr.
Shakir Collins – LB – Adelanto (CA) Adelanto: Collins is a 6’2″, 210-pounder with offers from Florida State, Texas A&M, and Washington, among others. He’s a 3-star, the #26 linebacker, and #360 overall.
KingJoseph Edwards – TE – Buford (GA) Buford: Edwards is a 6’5″, 242 lb. prospect with offers from Alabama, Georgia, and Ohio State, among others. He’s a 4-star, the #7 athlete, and #58 overall. Buford is a powerhouse program that produces FBS talent on a yearly basis, including former Michigan running back Christian Turner (now at Wake Forest).
Dante Moore – QB – Detroit (MI) King: Moore is a 6’3″, 195 lb. prospect with offers from Georgia, LSU, Miami, Michigan, Notre Dame, Ohio State, Penn State, and others. He’s a 5-star, the #3 quarterback, and #5 overall. Michigan is not really pursuing any other quarterbacks in the 2023 class, so they have all their eggs in the Moore basket, so this is an important visit for the Wolverines. Right now the crystal ball leader is Notre Dame. At this point I think this recruitment is a formality, honestly. My hunch is that this is one final hurrah for Michigan and a chance for Moore to say he gave it every chance before he goes ahead and commits to Notre Dame. Hopefully I’m wrong.
2024
Charles Lester III – CB – Sarasota (FL) Riverview: Lester is a 6’2″, 171-pounder with offers from Alabama, Florida, Georgia, and Michigan, among others. He’s a 247 Sports 4-star, the #4 cornerback, and #27 overall in the class of 2024.
2025
Davi Belfort – QB – Fort Lauderdale (FL) Dillard: Belfort is a 5’11”, 175 lb. prospect with offers from Alabama, Georgia, Oregon, and Texas A&M, among others. He’s the son of UFC fighter Vitor Belfort. On his official visit to Ann Arbor this weekend, he also picked up an offer from Michigan.
Kyle Altuner – OT – Olney (MD) Good Counsel: Altuner is a 6’4″, 290 lb. prospect with offers from Maryland, Miami, Notre Dame, and Penn State, among others. He’s a 3-star, the #19 offensive tackle, and #332 overall. He’s a teammate of 2024 linebacker Aaron Chiles, who was also offered recently.
Jamyri Cauley – WR – Dallas (TX) South Oak Cliff: Cauley is a 6’2″, 215-pounder with offers from Georgia, LSU, and Texas, among others. He’s a 4-star, the #11 wide receiver, and #71 overall. As a sophomore in 2021, he caught 35 passes for 938 yards and 10 touchdowns.
