Hayden Moore – LB – Aurora (CO) Regis Jesuit: Moore signed with Michigan in December and will enroll this summer.
2024
Max Anderson – OT – Frisco (TX) Reedy: Anderson is a 6’5″, 300 lb. prospect with offers from Alabama, Georgia, LSU, Miami, and Tennessee, among others. He’s a 4-star, the #10 offensive tackle, and #184 overall. He will be in town on March 14-15.
Aaron Chiles – LB – Olney (MD) Good Counsel: Chiles is a 6’3″, 220-pounder with offers from Alabama, Florida, Georgia, LSU, and Ohio State, among others. He’s a 4-star, the #7 linebacker, and #88 overall. There are some who believe Michigan leads for Chiles.
Cameron Brandt – DT – Chatsworth (CA) Sierra Canyon: Brandt is a 6’4″, 260 lb. prospect who has been committed to Stanford since July of 2022. He’s a 3-star, the #50 defensive lineman, and #448 overall. Despite remaining verbally committed to Stanford after head coach David Shaw stepped down and was replaced by Sacramento State’s Troy Taylor, it seems like he is likely to flip to the Wolverines. This official visit is the only visit Brandt is taking before National Signing Day in February.
2024
Hevin Brown-Shuler – DT – Atlanta (GA) Pace: Brown-Shuler is a 6’4″, 290-pounder with offers from Clemson, Georgia, Michigan, Ohio State, and Tennessee, among others. He’s a 4-star, the #10 defensive lineman, and #72 overall.
Waltclaire Flynn, Jr. – C – Loganville (GA) Grayson: Flynn is a 6’1″, 304 lb. prospect with offers from Georgia, Miami, Michigan, and Tennessee, among others. He’s a 4-star, the #7 interior offensive lineman, and #113 overall.
A.J. Barner – TE – Indiana: Barner is a 6’6″, 250 lb. starting tight end and captain from the Hoosiers. After spending three seasons in Bloomington, he has two seasons of eligibility left. This season he caught 28 passes for 199 yards and 3 touchdowns. Barner was a 3-star, the #51 tight end, and #1147 overall in the class of 2020. With Michigan losing Erick All (Iowa), Luke Schoonmaker (NFL), Louis Hansen (transfer), Carter Selzer (graduation), and Joel Honigford (graduation), they need some reinforcements at the tight end position.
Josaiah Stewart – OLB – Coastal Carolina: Stewart is a 6’2″, 230 lb. outside linebacker whom Michigan offered when he came out of high school in 2021. He went to Coastal Carolina and had an outstanding freshman season followed up by a pretty solid sophomore year. Now that he’s in the transfer portal, he has two years of eligibility remaining and appears to be choosing between Michigan and USC.
Michael Hawkins, Jr. – QB – Allen (TX) Allen: Hawkins is a 6’1″, 181 lb. prospect with offers from North Carolina State and SMU. He’s the son of former Oklahoma cornerback Mike Hawkins, who also played with the Packers, Browns, Vikings, and Raiders after being drafted in the 5th round. As a sophomore in 2021, the younger Hawkins completed 161/249 passes for 2,807 yards, 21 touchdowns, and 5 interceptions; he also ran 104 times for 730 yards and 8 touchdowns.
Brady Prieskorn – TE – Rochester (MI) Adams: Prieskorn is a 6’6″, 215-pounder with offers from Arkansas, Florida State, and Penn State, among others. He’s the younger brother of Memphis tight end Caden Prieskorn, who graduated from Orchard Lake (MI) St. Mary’s. Rochester Adams is the school that outgoing cornerback Vincent Gray attended.
Desmond Ricks – CB – Bradenton (FL) IMG Academy: Ricks is a 6’2″, 170 lb. prospect with offers from Florida, Florida State, and Georgia, among others. He’s a 247 Sports 4-star, the #1 cornerback, and #2 overall for the 2024 class.
Zina Umeozulu – DE – Allen (TX) Allen: Umeozulu is a 6’4″, 210-pounder with offers from Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Oklahoma, Texas, and Texas A&M, among others. He’s a 247 Sports 4-star, the #2 edge player, and #25 overall. His brother Neto is a 4-star player who signed with Texas A&M in the 2022 class.
