Cole Cabana – RB – Dexter (MI) Dexter: Cabana (4-star, #6 all-purpose back, #206 overall) committed to Michigan in February.

My’Keil Gardner – DT – Peoria (AZ) Liberty: Gardner (3-star, #28 DT) is a 6’3″, 285 lb. prospect who took officials to Cal, Michigan, Oregon, Texas, and Wisconsin in June. He is making his commitment announcement on August 3, and the FutureCast is 100% in favor of Michigan. UPDATE: Gardner is no longer planning to visit Michigan this weekend.

Aaron Gates – ATH – Sharpsburg (GA) Trinity Christian: Gates (3-star, #23 ATH) is committed to Florida but has been flirting with Michigan for several months. He has already been to Michigan and could flip to the Wolverines.

Jordan Hall – OT – Columbus (OH) KIPP: Hall (3-star OT) is a 6’8″, 340 lb. prospect with offers from Michigan and Penn State, among others.

Amir Herring – OG – West Bloomfield (MI) West Bloomfield: Herring (4-star, #13 OG) committed to Michigan in July.

Jyaire Hill – CB – Kankakee (IL) Kankakee: Hill (3-star, #55 CB) is a 6’2″, 180-pounder whose FutureCast is 100% on Illinois right now despite having offers from Auburn, Michigan, Notre Dame, Oklahoma, and Penn State, among others. Michigan was thought to be the leader at one point, but Illinois is making him one of their top priorities. The situation seems a little bit similar to what happened with Dillon Tatum last year, whom Michigan State made their #1 priority and eventually signed.

Caleb Lomu – OT – Gilbert (AZ) Highland: Lomu (3-star, #46 OT) is a 6’5″, 255-pounder with offers from Arizona, Arizona State, UCLA, and USC, among others. He was offered by Michigan relatively recently, so it’s good news that Michigan has been able to make inroads with him so quickly.

Kayden McDonald – DT – Suwanee (GA) North Gwinnett: McDonald (4-star, #7 DT, #188 overall) visited Michigan unofficially back in June and immediately scheduled a return visit for the BBQ. He took an official to Florida and also has offers from Clemson, Georgia, Miami, and Ohio State, among others. UPDATE: McDonald did not make the visit.

Semaj Morgan – WR – West Bloomfield (MI) West Bloomfield: Morgan (4-star, #46 WR) committed to Michigan in December.

Chris Peal – S – Charlotte (NC) Providence Day: Peal (3-star, #41 S) is a 6’2″, 180-pounder with offers from Georgia, Michigan, North Carolina, Oklahoma, and Tennessee, among others. The FutureCast is in favor of Georgia. Peal is a teammate of several key 2024 prospects (see below).

Boo Carter – ATH – Chattanooga (TN) Christian: Carter (4-star, #12 ATH, #75 overall) is a 6’0″, 180-pounder with offers from Florida State, Michigan, Penn State, and Tennessee, among others. He could play receiver, corner, or safety at the next level.

Mason Curtis – LB – Nashville (TN) Ensworth: Curtis (4-star, #14 OLB, #219 overall) committed to Michigan in June.

Jadyn Davis – QB – Charlotte (NC) Providence Day: Davis (5-star, #3 pro-style QB, #5 overall) is a 6’0″, 186-pounder who’s a teammate of Peal (see above). Davis is one of the top quarterbacks in the 2024 class and could be a satisfactory fill-in for 2023 QB Dante Moore (Oregon) and 2024 QB C.J. Carr (Notre Dame), both of whom have spurned their local connections with Michigan in favor of other schools. Davis visited Michigan in June and some immediate positivity arose about the chances of getting him in a winged helmet. The FutureCast is 100% in favor of the Wolverines.

KingJoseph Edwards – TE – Buford (GA) Buford: Edwards (4-star, #7 WDE, #109 overall) is a 6’5″, 242-pounder who could play tight end or defensive end at the next level. He’s a teammate of Bolden (see above).

Channing Goodwin – WR – Charlotte (NC) Providence Day: Goodwin (3-star, #63 WR) is the son of former Michigan offensive lineman Jonathan Goodwin, who is the offensive line coach at Providence Day. The younger Goodwin has offers from Michigan, North Carolina State, Pitt, and West Virginia, among others.

Jake Guarnera – OT – Ponte Vedra (FL) Ponte Vedra: Guarnera (3-star, #34 OT) is a 6’4″, 275 lb. prospect with offers from Florida, North Carolina State, and Penn State, among others. He does not yet have an offer from Michigan.
