COMMITMENT

Clayton (OH) Northmont defensive end Gabe Newburg committed to Michigan (LINK).

ADDED TO THE BOARD: 2019

Seattle (WA) Rainier Beach offensive tackle Nathaniel Kalepo, a Washington commit, was offered by Michigan. He’s a 6’6″, 300-pounder who has been committed to the Huskies since August of 2017; he also has offers from Oregon, UCLA, and USC. He’s a 3-star, the #40 offensive tackle, and #395 overall.

Miami (FL) South Dade wide receiver Frank Ladson, Jr. was offered by Michigan. He’s a 6’4″, 170 lb. prospect with offers from almost every big-time program, including the three in-state powers. He’s a 5-star, the #3 wide receiver, and #15 overall. Eight of the nine Crystal Ball picks have him going to Clemson.

Chandler (AZ) Chandler tight end Brayden Liebrock was offered by Michigan. He’s 6’5″, 215 lbs. with offers from Alabama, Arizona, Arizona State, Cal, and Notre Dame, among others. He’s a 3-star, the #13 tight end, and #399 overall. As a junior in 2017, he caught 39 passes for 600 yards (15.4 yards/catch) and 5 touchdowns.

Hit the jump for several more new offers and some guys who committed to other schools.

2019 Recruiting Update: December 18, 2017

ADDED TO THE BOARD: 2019

Houston (TX) DeKaney cornerback Marcus Banks was offered by Michigan. He’s a 6’0″, 170 lb. prospect with offers from LSU, Oklahoma, Texas, and Texas A&M. He had 28 tackles and 8 tackles for loss as a junior in 2017, but he is expected to commit to the in-state Longhorns.

Dallas (TX) Bishop Dunne wide receiver/cornerback Marquez Beason was offered by Michigan. He’s a 5’11”, 173 lb. prospect with offers from LSU, Notre Dame, Ohio State, and Texas, among others. He’s a 4-star, the #6 athlete, and #84 overall. A standout on both sides of the ball, he wants to play defensive in college, and that appears to be where Michigan wants him, too.

Lawrenceville (GA) Archer cornerback Andrew Booth, Jr. was offered by Michigan. He’s a 6’0″, 180 lb. prospect with offers from Alabama, Clemson, Georgia, Ohio State, and Oklahoma, among others. He’s a 4-star, the #5 cornerback, and #88 overall. Michigan is sending out a bunch of offers to cornerbacks in the 2019 class, which makes sense because Lavert Hill and David Long will have finished their junior years, and they could be candidates to leave early for the NFL. Booth made 46 tackles and 7 interceptions as a sophomore in 2016.

Hit the jump for a bunch of other new offers that have gone out over the past several weeks.
