2023 TRANSFER PORTAL

Josh Wallace – CB – UMass: Wallace is a 6’1″, 190-pounder who has started 34 games over the past few seasons at UMass and was a two-time team captain. He has one year of eligibility remaining and was coached at UMass by former Michigan defensive coordinator Don Brown.

2024

Marquis Gallegos – S – West Hills (CA) Chaminade: Gallegos is a 6’1″, 175 lb. prospect with offers from Cal, Michigan, Notre Dame, Oklahoma, UCLA, and USC, among others. He’s a 4-star, the #23 safety, and #252 overall. This is his official visit.

Brian Robinson, Jr. – DE – Austintown (OH) Fitch: Robinson is a 6’5″, 255-pounder with offers from Georgia, Kentucky, Michigan, Notre Dame, and Penn State, among others. He’s a 4-star, the #10 edge, and #132 overall. All four crystal ball picks have come in for Michigan, but he also has official visits set up for Kentucky and Penn State after he visits Ann Arbor.

Cameron Brandt (image via Twitter)

2023

Cameron Brandt – DT – Chatsworth (CA) Sierra Canyon: Brandt is a 6’4″, 260 lb. prospect who has been committed to Stanford since July of 2022. He’s a 3-star, the #50 defensive lineman, and #448 overall. Despite remaining verbally committed to Stanford after head coach David Shaw stepped down and was replaced by Sacramento State’s Troy Taylor, it seems like he is likely to flip to the Wolverines. This official visit is the only visit Brandt is taking before National Signing Day in February.

2024

Hevin Brown-Shuler – DT – Atlanta (GA) Pace: Brown-Shuler is a 6’4″, 290-pounder with offers from Clemson, Georgia, Michigan, Ohio State, and Tennessee, among others. He’s a 4-star, the #10 defensive lineman, and #72 overall.

Waltclaire Flynn, Jr. – C – Loganville (GA) Grayson: Flynn is a 6’1″, 304 lb. prospect with offers from Georgia, Miami, Michigan, and Tennessee, among others. He’s a 4-star, the #7 interior offensive lineman, and #113 overall.

Visitors: Michigan vs. Illinois

Kankakee (IL) Kankakee cornerback Jyaire Hill (image via 247 Sports)

2023

Cameron Calhoun – CB – Cincinnati (OH) Winton Woods: Calhoun, a recent Cincinnati decommit, is a 6’0″, 170-pounder with offers from Kentucky, Michigan, and West Virginia. He’s a 3-star, the #48 cornerback, and #483 overall. Calhoun – who was also committed to WVU at one point – decommitted during an official visit to Kentucky last weekend, so that’s the most likely landing spot going into this official visit.

Arion Carter – LB – Smyrna (TN) Smyrna: Carter is a 6’1″, 210 lb. prospect with offers from Alabama, Memphis, Michigan, Ohio State, and Tennessee; he has been committed to Memphis since July. Carter is a 4-star, the #24 linebacker, and #317 overall. Carter has backed out of a couple other official visit dates to Michigan, so my confidence is not very high that he strongly considers the Wolverines, and many people think he will end up at Alabama.

Amir Herring – OG – West Bloomfield (MI) West Bloomfield: Herring is committed to Michigan (LINK).

Jyaire Hill – CB – Kankakee (IL) Kankakee: Hill is a 6’1″, 170-pounder with offers from a bunch of schools, but Illinois and Michigan are the two primary ones on which to focus. He’s a 4-star, the #26 cornerback, and #203 overall. He took officials to Illinois and Michigan over the summer and seems to be going back and forth between the two schools, with Michigan having the lone 247 Sports crystal ball.

Caleb Clark-Glover – CB – Cincinnati (OH) Princeton: Clark-Glover is a 5’11”, 170 lb. prospect with offers from Air Force and a bunch of MAC teams. He’s a 247 Sports 3-star and the #104 cornerback in the country.

Saadiq Clements – DT – Henderson (KY) Henderson: Clements is a 6’5″, 260-pounder with offers from Florida State, Indiana, Kentucky, and Louisville, among others. UPDATE: Clements was offered during the visit.

Kade Eldridge – TE – Lynden (WA) Christian School: Eldridge is a 6’4″, 235 lb. prospect with offers from Boise State, Oregon State, and Utah, among others. He’s a 247 Sports 3-star and the #83 athlete in the class. He does not have a Michigan offer, but one could be on the way.

Mark Fletcher – RB – Fort Lauderdale (FL) American Heritage: Fletcher is a 6’1″, 225 lb. prospect with offers from Alabama, Miami, Michigan, and Penn State, among others. He’s a 4-star, the #8 running back, and #137 overall. He visited on Tuesday. Fletcher has one crystal ball pick in for Miami.

Paul Mubenga – OT – Buford (GA) Buford: Mubenga is a 6’4″, 280-pounder with offers from Michigan, Penn State, Texas, and Texas A&M, among others. He’s a 3-star, the #36 offensive tackle, and #430 overall.
