COMMITMENT

Belleville (MI) Belleville defensive end Tyrece Woods committed to Michigan.

OFF THE BOARD

Darrian Dalcourt – OG – Baltimore (MD) St. Frances: Dalcourt committed to Alabama. He’s a 4-star, the #14 offensive guard, and #327 overall. St. Frances is the home of former Michigan staffer Biff Poggi, but that relationship has yet to pay off with any commitments other than Henry Poggi when both Poggis were at Gilman.

Barrett Miller – OT – Aurora (CO) Eaglecrest: Miller committed to Stanford. He’s a 3-star, the #47 offensive tackle, and #516 overall.

Jonah Tauanu’u – OT – Harbor City (CA) Narbonne: Tauanu’u committed to Oregon. He’s a 4-star, the #11 offensive tackle, and #60 overall.

MISCELLANEY

Columbus (OH) St. Francis DeSales defensive tackle Rodas Johnson named Michigan to his top six. He’s a 4-star, the #19 defensive tackle, and #298 overall.

5-22-17 Recruiting Update: Tarquin’s Ravishing Strides

ADDED TO THE BOARD: 2019

Miami (FL) Northwestern linebacker Samuel Brooks, Jr. was offered by Michigan. Brooks is a 6’2″, 195 lb. prospect with offers from Kentucky, Louisville, and South Florida, among others. He plays with his hand down at times and is more of a pass rusher, so it will be interesting to see how his body develops and how he’ll be able to be used.

Montvale (NJ) St. Joseph defensive end Howard Cross III was offered by Michigan. Cross is a 6’2″, 240 lb. prospect with offers from Maryland, North Carolina State, and Rutgers, among others. He’s the son of former Alabama and New York Giants tight end Howard Cross.

Destrehan (LA) Destrehan running back John Emery, Jr. was offered by Michigan. He’s a 6’0″, 194 lb. prospect with offers from Arkansas, Auburn, Georgia, and LSU, among others. He’s a 247 Sports 4-star, the #7 running back, and #90 overall.
