August 24, 2012: Thomas’s Alliance (OH) Marlington beat Poland (OH) Poland by a score of 10-3.  Thomas had 31 yards rushing, 12 tackles, and 1 fumble recovery.  Marlington is now 1-0.

August 31, 2012: Marlington beat Mantus (OH) Crestwood by a score of 42-14.  Thomas had 8 carries for 142 yards, 2 rushing touchdowns, and 1 receiving touchdown.  Marlington is now 2-0.

September 7, 2012: Marlington beat Louisville (OH) St. Thomas Aquinas by a score of 17-14.  Thomas had 19 carries for 166 yards, 2 touchdowns, and a two-point conversion.  Marlington is now 3-0.

September 14, 2012: Marlington beat Louisville (OH) Louisville by a score of 34-24.  Thomas had 309 rushing yards and 4 touchdowns, along with 12 tackles on defense.  Through four games, he has 648 yards and 8 touchdowns.  Marlington is now 4-0.

September 21, 2012: Marlington beat Salem (OH) Salem by a score of 41-10.  Thomas had 17 carries for 118 yards and 3 touchdowns.  He now has 766 yards and 11 touchdowns.  Marlington is now 5-0.

September 28, 2012: Marlington beat Carrollton (OH) Carrollton by a score of 34-14.  Thomas had 25 carries for 249 yards and 4 touchdowns, along with an 8-yard touchdown pass; on defense, he had 10 tackles and 1 interception.  He now has 1,015 yards and 15 rushing touchdowns on the season.  Marlington is now 6-0.

October 5, 2012: Marlington beat Minerva (OH) Minerva by a score of 27-10.  Thomas sat out the game due to injury.  Marlington is now 7-0.

October 12, 2012: Marlington beat Canton (OH) South by a score of 14-0.  Thomas had 32 carries for 143 yards, including a 22-yard touchdown; he also had an 11-yard touchdown reception; Thomas also had 10 tackles.  He now has 1,158 yards and 16 rushing touchdowns on the year.  Marlington is 8-0.

October 19, 2012: Marlington lost to West Branch (OH) West Branch by a score of 35-14.  Thomas had 11 carries for 33 yards and 1 touchdown, but he injured his ankle at the end of the first half and didn’t return.  Marlington is now 8-1.

October 26, 2012: Marlington lost to Alliance (OH) Alliance by a score of 34-13.  Thomas played very little due to an ankle injury.  Marlington is now 8-2.

November 3, 2012: Marlington lost to Poland (OH) Poland by a score of 38-0 in the first round of the playoffs.  Thomas had 22 carries for 72 yards.  Marlington ends the year 8-3.

August 23, 2012: Smith’s Warren (OH) Howland team beat Warren (OH) Lakeside by a score of 43-16.    Smith had 17 carries for 311 yards (18.3 yards per carry) and 3 touchdowns.  He also had at least 1 tackle and 1 sack on defense.  Howland is 1-0.

August 31, 2012: Howland fell to Warren (OH) Harding by a score of 34-0.  Smith hurt his shoulder early in the game and did not return, except for a brief moment in the third quarter.  Howland is now 1-1.

September 7, 2012:  Howland beat Cortland (OH) Lakeview by a score of 22-18.  Despite a sore shoulder, Smith played the entire game and recorded 183 yards on 26 carries, including a two-yard touchdown run to put his team on top with only 1:11 remaining in the game.  Howland is now 2-1.

September 14, 2012:  Howland scored a victory over Hubbard (OH) Hubbard, 28-20, Friday night.  Smith ran for 193 yards on only 20 carries and scored four touchdowns.  Howland is now 3-1.

September 21, 2012:  Howland beat Kent (OH) Roosevelt by a score of 65-14.  Smith ran for 92 yards on seven carries and scored twice.  On the season, he has 779 yards on 70 carries (10.8 YPC) and at least 10 touchdowns.  Howland is now 4-1.

September 28, 2012:  Howland smoked Lispon (OH) Beaver, 37-14.  Smith gained 145 rushing yards and scored three touchdowns on runs of 3, 51 and 10 yards.  142 of Smith’s 145 yards came in the first half of the game.  On the season, Smith now has 921 rushing yards and at least 13 touchdowns.  Howland is now 5-1.

October 5, 2012:  Howland defeated Poland (OH) Poland Seminary by a score of 26-7.  Smith ran for 150 yards and three touchdowns on runs of 13, 5, and 19 yards.  Howland is now 6-1.

October 12, 2012:  Howland was defeated by Niles (OH) Mckinley by a score of 17-10.  Smith had 140 yards on 22 carries, one touchdown and one fumble in the game.  Smith now has 1,311 yards and at least 17 touchdowns this season.  Howland is now 6-2.

October 19, 2012:  Howland beat Canfield (OH) Canfield by a score of 31-17.  Smith ran for 282 yards in the game, including a 54-yard touchdown carry.  Now with a total of 6,461 yards in his high school career, Smith is Trumbell County’s all-time rushing leader.  Howland is 7-2 as they prepare to take on Struthers (OH) Struthers in their final regular season game.  Smith’s team is in position to win it’s sixth consecutive league championship.

November 2, 2012:  Howland was defeated 42-16 by Chardon (OH) Chardon.  In his last game as a Howland Tiger, Smith finished with 147 yards on 23 carries and both of his team’s touchdowns.  Howland finishes 7-3.  Smith ends the year with 1,740 yards and 20 touchdowns.

September 1, 2012: Manual lost to Charleston (IL) Charleston by a score of 49-0.  Manual is now 0-2.

September 8, 2012: Manual lost to Chicago (IL) Marshall by a score of 40-20.  Manual is now 0-3.

September 15, 2012: Manual lost to Peoria (IL) Peoria by a score of 44-0.  Peoria featured fellow Michigan offeree Josh Augusta.  Manual is now 0-4.

September 21, 2012: Manual lost to Chillicothe (IL) Illinois Valley Central by a score of 35-8.  Tuley-Tillman had 14 tackles and 10 pancake blocks.  Manual is now 0-5.

September 28, 2012: Manual lost to Peoria (IL) Richwoods by a score of 48-6.  Tuley-Tillman had 4 tackles, 3 tackles for loss, and 9 pancake blocks.  Manual is now 0-6.

October 5, 2012: Manual lost to Quincy (IL) Notre Dame by a score of 48-8.  Tuley-Tillman had 8 pancake blocks, 4 tackles, and 2.5 sacks.  Manual is now 0-7.

October 12, 2012: Manual lost to Peoria (IL) Notre Dame by a score of 63-14.  Tuley-Tillman had 11 pancake blocks.  Manual is now 0-8.

October 19, 2012: Manual lost to Eureka (IL) Eureka-Roanoke Benson by a score of 38-0.  Tuley-Tillman had 11 pancake blocks, 3 tackles, and 1 sack.  Manual finishes its season 0-9.

September 1, 2012: Hales Franciscan beat Chicago (IL) Leo by a score of 20-12.  Hales Franciscan is now 2-0.

September 8, 2012: Hales Franciscan beat Chicago (IL) Julian by a score of 34-8.  Hales Franciscan is now 3-0.

September 14, 2012: Hales Franciscan beat Chicago (IL) Gordon Tech by a score of 18-13.  Hales Franciscan is now 4-0.

September 22, 2012: Hales Franciscan beat Lake Forest (IL) Lake Forest Academy by a score of 34-14. Hales Franciscan is now 5-0.

October 12, 2012: Hales Franciscan beat Westchester (IL) St. Joseph by a score of 69-8.  Hales Franciscan is now 6-2.

October 19, 2012: Hales Franciscan beat Cahokia (IL) Cahokia by a score of 13-0.  Hales Franciscan is now 7-2.
