He’s a 247 Composite 4-star, the #19 offensive tackle, and #108 overall. Michigan offered him in May of 2015, and he appears to be one of the Wolverines’ top options for a left tackle in the 2017 class.

Matt Dotson – TE – Cincinnati (OH) Moeller: Dotson is a 6’5″, 235 lb. prospect with offers from Michigan, Michigan State, Ohio State, and Tennessee, among others. There are no Michigan picks.

Jimmy Jaggers – TE – Roseville (CA) Roseville: Jaggers is a 6’5″, 237 lb. prospect with offers from Michigan, UCLA, USC, and Washington, among others. He’s a 247 Composite 4-star, the #8 tight end, and #257 overall. He has visited Michigan previously and holds the Wolverines in high regard. UPDATE: Jaggers is no longer planning to visit.

Taariq Johnson – WR – Los Angeles (CA) Buena Park: Johnson is a 6’2″, 213 lb. prospect who committed to Cal earlier in April; he also has offers from Arizona, Baylor, Michigan, and Notre Dame, among others. He’s a 247 Composite 4-star, the #32 wide receiver, and #238 overall. Johnson transferred to Buena Park prior to his junior year, before which he was a teammate of Lewis and Allen (see below), along with running back Greg Johnson (Arizona).

Joseph Lewis – WR – Los Angeles (CA) Hawkins: Lewis is a 6’1″, 207 lb. prospect with offers from Auburn, Florida, Michigan, Notre Dame, Oklahoma, Oregon, and USC, among others. He’s a 247 Composite 5-star, the #4 wide receiver, and #21 overall. Unfortunately, 100% of his Crystal Ball picks are in favor of the Trojans.

Ben Mason – DE – Sandy Hook (CT) Newtown: Mason is a 6’2″, 247 lb. prospect with offers from Connecticut, Rutgers, and now Michigan after visiting campus on Tuesday, April 12. He’s a 247 Composite 3-star, the #35 inside linebacker, and #872 overall. He could play anywhere from fullback to defensive end to linebacker.

2019

J.T. Daniels – QB – Santa Ana (CA) Mater Dei: Daniels is a 6’1″, 195 lb. prospect who already has offers from Arizona State, BYU, Notre Dame, and UCLA, among others. He was a teammate of 2016 offensive tackle Frank Martin II (USC) and linebacker Curtis Robinson (Stanford).

Horace McCoy – S – Santa Ana (CA) Mater Dei: McCoy is a 6’1″, 170 lb. prospect whose lone FBS offer comes from Oregon. He’s a teammate of Daniels (see above).

wow great to see so many west coast kids visiting. its typically very difficult (and expensive) to arrange unofficials for CA prospects and the like, and while most likely remain longshots to attend m, getting them on campus is still huge
