Some visitors will be headed to Michigan this weekend for the clash against Michigan State. No contact with coaches is allowed while on campus, so this is essentially like taking an unguided vacation to Ann Arbor. But it’s still noteworthy, since any visitors have to pay for the trip themselves.

Pretty OT, but have you looked at Caleb Banks? I was told last night that he is the exact kind of kid Dantonio would have turned into a nightmare, redshirt Junior DT.
I looked at his tape and am not sophisticated enough to see beyond the fact that he gets through.

I’m not a huge fan of Banks, at least as a defensive lineman. Based on his junior film, I liked him as an offensive lineman. He has good athleticism, but he was not as aggressive as I would want for a DT or even DE.

Yeah, that’s what I’ve heard. Some MSU people are saying they cooled on him, for whatever reason. That was also the word out of ASU. I haven’t seen his senior film, so I don’t know if something has changed with his body, playing style, etc.
