2019 NFL Draft Preview: Michigan

This is one of the most exciting NFL Draft seasons for Michigan fans in years, probably even surpassing the 2017 draft when Taco Charlton was taken in the first round, Jourdan Lewis seemed like a borderline first rounder, and several others were drafted. A couple players are expected to go in the first round, and another player is considered to be one of the top few players at his position.

Stewart Mandel lists the top 25 college head football coaches (LINK). Unlike his buddy Bruce Feldman, Mandel doesn’t have Jim Harbaugh in the top 25. How does a guy who’s won 10 games in three of the last four seasons not end up in the top 25? I listened to TheĀ Audible, Mandel and Feldman’s podcast, and Mandel’s excuse was that the expectation should be higher at Michigan. By the way, Pat Fitzgerald of Northwestern (Mandel’s alma mater) is #17.
