Does anyone else find it very interesting that Mathis would make the trip all the way from Cali for what looks to be a camp for regional prospects. I think the possibility of him coming to Michigan is greater than some think. He's obviously built a relationship with Dawson and Taco from previous camps and we all know Shane's got to be in his ear. He seems to be a fierce competitor so 2012's d-line class shouldn't scare him away. He's projected to play the position roh's in right now, is that correct?

Mathis was told he would be a weakside end, which is the position Roh played last season (Clark/Beyer are there now).
At least so far on Twitter, it looks like Mathis might not have made it into town for the SMSB camp.

So he would be competing directly with Taco from his class? That would have the potential to be a pretty badass rotation of pass rushers if it were to happen. Well at least we know that he wanted to be there. That's gotta mean something.

Are there any offers out there on Jay'ru Campbell? I know he's young but the kid put up ridiculous numbers against Catholic Central last year. It will be interesting to see how his recruitment pans out.
