Minneapolis (MN) Edina offensive tackle Quinn Carroll was offered by Michigan. He’s 6’6″, 280 lbs. and has offers from Arkansas, LSU, Minnesota, Penn State, Virginia Tech, and Wisconsin, among others. He claims a 300 lb. bench, a 490 lb. squat, and a 500 lb. deadlift. He’s a big body and has pretty good technique, but since he’s only a sophomore in high school, it’s hard to project where he would be best suited to play on the line. Carroll plans to visit Michigan during the final weekend of January.

Orange (NJ) Orange cornerback Nyquee Hawkins was offered by Michigan. He’s a 5’11”, 160-pounder with offers from Penn State and UConn. He’s a long-striding corner who could also develop into a wide receiver.

Hyattsville (MD) DeMatha Catholic wide receiver DeMarcco Hellams was offered by Michigan. He’s a 6’2″, 195 lb. prospect with offers from Louisville, Maryland, North Carolina, and Tennessee. Michigan has tried to get its foot in the door with DeMatha players over the years, but so far they’ve been unsuccessful recruiting the powerhouse. In fact, I’ve heard rumors that Michigan might be looking to hire a coach from DeMatha onto its support staff.

Suwanee (GA) North Gwinnett cornerback D.J. Turner II was offered by Michigan. He’s 5’11”, 175 lbs. with offers from Kentucky, Missouri, North Carolina, and Penn State.

St. Louis (MO) Trinity Catholic cornerback Isaiah Williams was offered by Michigan. Williams is a 5’11”, 160 lb. prospect with offers from Illinois, Iowa, Michigan State, Missouri, and Wisconsin, among others. Williams plays quarterback, where he had 29 passing touchdowns, 20 rushing touchdowns, and more than 3,500 all-purpose yards. He could play corner or receiver at the next level, but he’s not expected to be a QB. The kid can fly and he can cut on a dime. You’ll want to watch these highlights:

Keep RR away from Williams, or he will be playing QB at the next level.
