ADDED TO THE BOARD: 2020

Hyattsville (MD) DeMatha offensive guard Golden Achumba was offered by Michigan. He’s a 6’4″, 335 lb. prospect, and Michigan appears to be his first offer. He benches 335 lbs. and squats 430. DeMatha is a powerhouse, but Michigan has had a difficult time getting its foot in the door.

Lakeland (FL) Lakeland running back Demarkcus Bowman was offered by Michigan. He’s a 5’11”, 180 lb. prospect with offers from Alabama, Florida, Florida State, Georgia, Miami, Ohio State, and Oregon, among others. As a sophomore in 2017, he ran 113 times for 1,136 yards (10.1 YPC) and 10 touchdowns.

Houston (TX) North Shore running back Zachary Evans was offered by Michigan. He’s a 6’0″, 207 lb. prospect with offers from Alabama, Florida, Florida State, LSU, Ohio State, and Oklahoma, among others. He’s a 247 Sports 4-star, the #4 running back, and #39 overall. As a sophomore in 2017, he ran 184 times for 1,483 yards and 27 touchdowns. Evans is a little bit reminiscent of Dalvin Cook with his running style.

Hit the jump for several more offensive players offered recently.

Stone Mountain (GA) Stephenson running back Miles Friday was offered by Michigan. He’s a 5’11”, 172 lb. prospect with offers from Alabama, Florida, Florida State, Georgia, Ohio State, and Tennessee, among others. He attends the same high school as former Michigan offensive guard commit Jalil Irvin.

Washington (DC) St. John’s wide receiver Rakim Jarrett was offered by Michigan. He’s a 6’0″, 182 lb. prospect with offers from Arizona, Maryland, and Virginia Tech, among others. He’s a 247 Sports 4-star, the #16 wide receiver, and #68 overall. Jarrett is a teammate of 2018 quarterback Kevin Doyle, who was committed to Michigan at one point. It’s unclear if that dissolved relationship will hurt Michigan’s chances with other St. John’s prospects, but the Wolverines have offered several.

Cincinnati (OH) St. Xavier offensive tackle Paris Johnson, Jr. was offered by Michigan. He’s a 6’7″, 275 lb. prospect with offers from Clemson, Florida State, Notre Dame, Ohio State, and Stanford, among others. He’s a 247 Sports 3-star, the #16 offensive tackle, and #111 overall.

Deerfield Beach (FL) Deerfield Beach running back Jaylan Knighton was offered by Michigan. He’s a 5’10”, 180 lb. prospect with offers from Alabama, Auburn, Clemson, Florida, Georgia, Ohio State, and Oklahoma, among others. Maxpreps has him down for having only played in three games as a sophomore in 2017, but he ran 27 times for 385 yards (14.3 YPC) and 10 touchdowns in those three games, and he was at 100+ yards in each outing. Deerfield Beach is the old stomping grounds of Denard Robinson, and Michigan has already offered Knighton’s 2019 teammate, outside linebacker Ge’mon Eaford.

Hyattsville (MD) DeMatha running back Marshawn Lloyd was offered by Michigan. He’s a 5’10”, 190 lb. prospect with offers from Maryland, Ohio State, and Penn State, among others. He’s a 247 Sports 4-star, the #1 running back, and #9 overall player in the country for 2020. Michigan has offered several of his teammates, including Achumba (see above).

Atlanta (GA) Carver running back Jo’quavious Marks was offered by Michigan. He’s a 5’10”, 169 lb. prospect with offers from Alabama, Auburn, Florida, and Miami, among others. As a sophomore in 2017, he ran 208 times for 2,127 yards (10.2 YPC) and 19 touchdowns. He’s a teammate of 2018 safety Quindarious Monday, who signed with Auburn.

Deerfield Beach (FL) Deerfield Beach wide receiver Deajaun McDougle was offered by Michigan. He’s a 5’10”, 175-pounder with offers from Alabama, Florida, Florida State, Georgia, Ohio State, and Oklahoma, among others. He’s a teammate of Knighton (see above).

Stoughton (WI) Stoughton offensive tackle Jack Nelson, a Wisconsin commit, was offered by Michigan. He’s a 6’7″, 242 lb. prospect. Considering how well Wisconsin does with linemen, Michigan should just follow Wisconsin’s recruiting sites and offer whoever the Badgers offer. Nelson has been committed to Wisconsin since October 2017, and there’s no reason to think he’ll flip to the Wolverines.

Rome (GA) Darlington offensive guard Tate Ratledge was offered by Michigan. He’s a 6’5″, 275 lb. prospect with offers from Alabama, Auburn, and Georgia, among others. He’s a 247 Sports 4-star, the #5 offensive tackle, and #40 overall.

Oak Park (MI) Oak Park offensive guard Justin Rogers was offered by Michigan. He’s a 6’3″, 265 lb. prospect with offers from Florida State, Michigan State, Ohio State, and Oregon, among others. He’s a 247 Sports 4-star, the #1 offensive guard, and #25 overall. Despite being a local kid, Michigan is a little bit late to the party, and all the Crystal Ball picks right now are in favor of Ohio State.

Kettle Moraine (WI) Kettle Moraine offensive tackle Trey Wedig was offered by Michigan. He’s a 6’7″, 284 lb. prospect with offers from Iowa State, Syracuse, and Wisconsin. The smart money is of course on the Badgers.
