FORMER PLAYERS

LB Jordan Anthony (Troy): Troy went 5-7 this season. Anthony made 4 tackles in a 37-10 loss to Georgia State. He finishes the season with 35 tackles and 0.5 tackles for loss.

RB Zach Charbonnet (UCLA): Charbonnet had 22 carries for 106 yards and 1 touchdown in a 42-14 win over Cal. He also caught 6 passes for 41 yards.

WR Kekoa Crawford (Cal): Cal went 5-7 this season. Crawford made 5 catches for 42 yards in a 42-14 loss to Cal. This was Crawford’s final college game, as he was in his sixth year. He finishes the season with 36 catches for 491 yards (13.6 yards/catch) and 0 touchdowns. He also returned 2 punts for 18 yards and completed 1/1 passes for 34 yards.

P Will Hart (San Jose State): SJSU went 5-7 this season. Hart punted 4 times for 199 yards in a 40-9 loss to Fresno State. Hart finishes the season with 67 punts for 2,976 yards (44.4 yards/punt)

QB Ren Hefley (Presbyterian): Presbyterian went 2-9 this season. Altogether, Hefley completed 351/563 passes (62.3%) for 3,934 yards and 39 touchdowns and 32 interceptions. He also ran 97 times for 27 yards and 2 touchdowns.

WR Giles Jackson (Washington): Jackson returned 3 kickoffs for 71 yards in a 40-13 loss to Washington State. Washington went 4-8 this season. Jackson had 8 catches for 87 yards, ran 8 times for 45 yards, returned 19 kickoffs for 442 yards (23.3 yards/return), and returned 12 punts for 81 yards (6.8 yards/return). His only score of the year came on a 2-point conversion against Stanford.

S Jaylen Kelly-Powell (Akron): Kelly-Powell did not play in the season finale, a 49-14 loss to Toledo. He finishes the 2-10 season with 73 tackles, 1.5 tackles for loss, 1 sack, 1 interception, and 1 pass breakup.

DE Aaron Lewis (Rutgers): Lewis made 3 tackles and 1 quarterback hurry in a 40-16 loss to Maryland. He finishes the 5-7 season with 29 tackles, 2.5 tackles for loss, 2.5 sacks, 1 forced fumble, and 3 quarterback hurries.

WR Oliver Martin (Nebraska): Martin did not record any stats in a 28-21 loss to Iowa. Finishing with a 3-9 record, Martin had 10 catches for 170 yards and 1 touchdown, 1 rush for 0 yards, and 3 punt returns for 19 yards.

Don Brown (Head Coach, UMass): UMass hired Brown to be its new head coach after finishing a 1-11 season with a 44-27 loss to New Mexico State.

D.J. Durkin (Defensive Coordinator, Ole Miss): Ole Miss beat Mississippi State by a score of 31-21.

Jedd Fisch (Head Coach, Arizona): Arizona fell to 1-11 with a 38-15 loss to Arizona State.

Brady Hoke (Head Coach, San Diego State): SDSU is now 11-1 and in the conference championship game after a 27-16 win over Boise State. Hoke was named Coach of the Year in the Mountain West.

Scot Loeffler (Head Coach, Bowling Green State): BGSU moved to 4-8 with a 21-10 win over Ohio.

Rich Rodriguez (Head Coach, Jacksonville State): ULM dropped to 4-8 after a 21-16 loss to Louisiana-Lafayette. He has since been named the new head coach at Jacksonville State.

Nick Sheridan (Offensive Coordinator, Indiana): Sheridan was fired as Indiana’s offensive coordinator after a dismal 2-10 season. It might be a little unfair considering the top two quarterbacks got injured, but college football is a high stakes job.
