I always find these type of compilations interesting. The only receiver I do not remember seeing play is Jack Clancy.

These lists can be eye opening as to statistical proof of production within the offensive system and QB in place at the time. Braylon sure did what was asked of him, Gallon was the definition of a no quit overachiever, Mandich was a man sized safety valve for Bo, and Avant seemed to catch anything and was always dependable to move the sticks.

Nonetheless AC will always be my favorite as he broke the Bo mold and made a believer of him. Desmond Howard was a blast to watch as well. Everyone has their own comparable of greatness. I can’t help but wonder what Jabrill Peppers could have done if he had been used differently on offense.

Desmond’s receptions being only in the 60s are something. A different era. What a great player.

Its amazing that Clancy’s 66 efforts after all these years & great receivers still ranks in the top 10.
    What a great one…………INTJohn
