Tim North
After graduating from Linden High School in 2005, Tim walked on to the Michigan football program, appeared in 32 games, earned a scholarship and became a three-time Academic All-Big Ten player. He now works in New York City as an Account Executive at IBM. If you have any questions about Michigan’s walk-on program, the advantages of a Michigan degree, or the ingredients of a successful student-athlete, then Tim’s a great person to ask – which you can do by leaving a comment below.

Hello Tim just curious do you think you have done better in life because of walking on? I mean to working for it and not having it handed to you make you a better player at U of M?

What was it like going from Linden, playing against Holly and Fenton, to playing in the Big House?

Hello fellow Eagle! An 83 graduate who also played under coach Hopkins. Can you speculate why more big time players don't come from the Fenton/linden area? Besides yourself and Vince Tatta (who played in East Landfill….Spartans), anyone else come to mind? Go Blue!
