    Are you really an 'ex-wolverine' based on a verbal commitment?

    I don't know that I view Fera and Jones the same way I view guys that actually enrolled at Michigan, took classes, practiced with the team, and played games.

    No, not really…but I think people (or maybe it's just me) are interested in seeing "what could have been."

    Damn, I really wish McGuffie would have stayed. Dude would be a starting senior right now, killing it for the Wolverines.

    McGuffie wasn't very productive at Michigan and hasn't exactly been tearing it up at Rice, either.

    @ Thunder

    At Michigan: That's because he was thrust into the action as a freshman when he should have red-shirted. Very, very few freshman are productive fresh out the gate. And three concussions don't help.

    At Rice: I don't have an answer, but I think he'd rather be a Wolverine regardless.

    @Anonymous 12:23

    You really don't know what you're talking about. The vast majority of running backs who end up being college stars see a LOT of playing time as freshmen.

    Your failure to answer the Rice question just makes you look rather silly.

    I tried posting earlier, didn't go through, trying again. Also not Anon @ 1223; someone else.

    McGuffie has a knee injury and isn't playing much. As noted he only has 25 carries on the season. I don't know what the injury is but I saw a replay of him wearing a knee brace early in the year.

    And honestly I don't get the McGuffie hate. Never have. He left UM for personal & family reasons, and people have been hating on the kid ever since.
