DECOMMITS

Pharaoh Brown – Tight end – Lyndhurst (OH) Brush
Brown committed to Michigan as a defensive end prior to his senior season, but once the year finished, he decided that he would rather play tight end.  Michigan’s coaches decided to allow him to play tight end, but he made a visit to Oregon that the coaches did not endorse.  Therefore, they did not see him as a Michigan commit and allowed him to explore his options. He committed to Oregon and had 2 catches for 42 yards as a freshman in 2012. As a sophomore in 2013, he caught 10 passes for 123 yards and 2 touchdowns. He made 25 catches for 420 yards and 6 touchdowns as a junior in 2014, but a nasty knee injury ended his season early and caused him to miss the entire 2015 season. When he came back as a fifth year senior in 2016, he made 33 catches for 426 yards and 5 touchdowns. He went undrafted in the 2017 NFL Draft and has since spent time with the Cleveland Browns and Oakland Raiders.
Current status: Cleveland Browns practice squad member

Caleb Stacey – Center – Cincinnati (OH) Oak Hills
Stacey was the second commitment of the class in spring 2011.  He stayed committed throughout the fall, but decommitted from the Wolverines in January 2012, saying he wanted to play closer to home.  Stacey left Cincinnati before his freshman season. He transferred to Mount St. Joseph prior to the 2013 season but left the team.
Current status: Out of football

Anthony Standifer – Cornerback – Crete (IL) Crete-Monee
Standifer committed to Michigan in the spring of 2011 and had a solid senior year, but shortly after his high school season finished, Standifer and Michigan parted ways.  Rumors swirled about academic performance and behavior, but regardless, he de-committed at the beginning of December 2011 and eventually committed to Ole Miss. Standifer made 3 tackles as a true freshman in 2012, then 3 more in 2013 before being dismissed from the team for unspecified rules violations. He transferred to Eastern Illinois, where he made 33 tackles, 1 tackles for loss, 3 interceptions, and 6 pass breakups. He made 10 tackles and 4 pass breakups in 2015.
Current status: Out of football
