ThunderYeah, I think some receivers are going to want to play in more pass-happy offenses. I’ve mentioned before that I think someone like Donovan Peoples-Jones’s ceiling is limited at Michigan, because he’s never going to catch enough passes to warrant being a Biletnikoff Award candidate or All-American. He’s had pretty good production and yards per catch this year, but he’s tied for #21 in the conference in receptions (30) and #17 in receiving yards. He’s #12 in yards per catch (14.9) and tied for #6 in touchdown receptions (7). The sheer volume for DPJ and other Michigan WRs is just going to be limited.

ThunderI don’t think so. He’s not the world’s biggest playmaker, but he and Winovich make a great duo. I think Winovich’s production would suffer considerably without Gary on the other side, because Gary keeps QBs hemmed in the pocket and lets Winovich chase them down from the back side. I think Gary will be gone after this year.

Now a guy does some sleazeball stuff (most of it legal, aside from the alleged domestic abuse), and people want to bring down Zach Smith, Urban Meyer, Gene Smith, etc.
Not that those things are okay or should be swept under the rug, but I think it just shows how much society has changed in the last 50-1,000 years.
