La Mesa (CA) Helix offensive guard Josh Simmons was offered by Michigan on Tuesday. Later on Tuesday, he decommitted from Oregon, a commitment he had pledged in January. Simmons is 6’5″, 323 lbs. and is a 4-star, the #16 offensive guard, and #274 overall to the 247 Composite. He could also play defensive tackle at the next level.
Simmons also has offers from Miami, Penn State, UCLA, and USC, among others.

I think he’s a very good prospect. I have no idea if he’ll choose Michigan or not. (Well, okay, I do: not many CA kids come to Michigan, so chances are very slim.)
