I watched the D-Line video several times, and it seemed to me — I am no expert by any means — that the right tackle wasn’t overwhelmed by Clark so much as the play broke down and the QB spent too much time in collapsing pocket. To my eye it seemed like the RT’s role was to keep Clark occupied for 2 or so seconds, which he did by keeping Clark in front of him. But the play took longer and the QB tried to move up in the pocket, which by that time was a sideways move for Clark. Am I mis-reading this?
