CB3 will be one of the most interesting battles to track in the spring and summer. I would put Gray, Sims and St Juste as the lead candidates due to Zordich and Brown’s preference for long CBs. Each is listed at 6’2 or 6’3.

For St Juste i’ts a make or break year coming off injury. Now he’s a junior facing the prospect of getting passed by younger players. Had good buzz his freshman year before getting hurt.

Gray seems like the favorite based on comments from Brown in the lead-up to the bowl game. Maybe he’s just outworking people or maybe Michigan found a gem.

Sims was the highest rated recruit by far. Michigan beat Alabama, Clemson, and many more for his commitment. Maybe he taps that talent with opportunity apparent.

None of these guys are entrenched enough to eliminate the other options but size plays in their favor. Few are worried about Thomas but if he isn’t stepping up he could lose snaps.
