I get why Milton came in on Saturday, but I saw that coming. Unless he’s chucking it deep, he just isn’t ready. Every time we see him, he’s drilling it to a wide open defender

      He will never be ready.
It was a mistake for Jim Harbaugh to hire Pep Hamilton. Joe Milton was Pep Hamilton’s big claim as a recruiter. He was his baby. I read Jim Harbaugh wanted Pep Hamilton because he had pro experience. Pro experience sure didn’t help Hamilton recognize who is a good QB.
I think Jim Harbaugh hired Shaun Nua because he played in the pros. It isn’t working either.
There’s a flood of talk that Urban Meyer is going to be coaching Michigan next year. If that happens I don’t know if he will even look to the pros for one coach.
Good thing I’ve had other good games to watch like Texas vs LSU, Utah vs, USC, and coming up in 2 days, Penn St vs Maryland.

The SC game was a clinic. A TrFR and 3d string QB, both thriving in a new spread offense. We can’t keep our 5star and two 4stars from self-destruction

You know things are very bad on the team with Joe Milton one step away from being the starter.

I’m not saying that Milton is a good QB, but the two interceptions have been garbage time 4th down throws where he tried to make something happen. He threw late over the middle, which is asking for a pick. However, he might look different during more meaningful time. He has some mobility and a rifle of an arm, but no touch on the ball and no demonstrated ability to progress through reads. $1 says he gets a garbage time quarter on Saturday and maybe like 5 meaningful snaps.

      There’s your answer

“but no touch on the ball and no demonstrated ability to progress through reads”
