Luke Elzinga – P – Grand Rapids (MI) Christian: Elzinga is a 6’4″, 195-pounder who’s ranked as the #8 punter in the country, according to Brandon Kornblue.

Dax Hill – S – Tulsa (OK) Booker T. Washington: Hill is a 6’0″, 186 lb. prospect with offers from Alabama, Michigan, Oklahoma, and Oklahoma State, among others. He’s a 5-star, the #1 safety, and #12 overall. The crystal balls on 247 Sports are 50% in favor of Alabama, 25% for Oklahoma, and 19% for Michigan, but recent news suggests it’s a battle between Alabama and Michigan. This is his official visit, and he officially visited Alabama back in June.

Matthew Akuchie – WR – Ft. Lauderdale (FL) St. Thomas Aquinas: Akuchie is a 6’2″, 190 lb. prospect who claims 4.75 speed.

Erick All – TE – Fairfield (OH) Fairfield: All is committed to Michigan (LINK).

Bryce Benhart – OT – Lakeville (MN) North:

John Branham, Jr. – RB – Columbus (OH) Northland: Branahm is a 5’10”, 218 lb. prospect with offers from Boston College, Cincinnati, and Pitt, among others. He’s a 3-star, the #52 running back, and #832 overall. He’s the older brother of 2020 Michigan commit Kalil Branham.

Isaiah Foskey – TE – Concord (CA) De La Salle: Foskey is a 6’5″, 240 lb. prospect with offers from Alabama, Clemson, Michigan, Penn State, UCLA, and USC, among others. He’s a 4-star, the #5 tight end, and #177 overall. He was offered as a freshman by the Michigan staff, and he attends the alma mater of former Michigan tight end Devin Asiasi (who transferred to UCLA after one season in Ann Arbor).

Daxton Hill – S – Tulsa (OK) Booker T. Washington: Hill is a 6’0″, 187 lb. prospect with offers from virtually every big-time program in the country. He’s a 5-star, the #1 safety, and #8 overall. His crystal ball picks are 80% in favor of Oklahoma. UPDATE: Hill is no longer planning to visit for the BBQ.

Jamal Hill – S – Morrow (GA) Morrow: Hill is a 6’2″, 190 lb. prospect with offers from Alabama, Arkansas, Michigan, and Pitt, among others. He’s a 3-star, the #66 safety, and #870 overall. As a junior in 2017, he made 67 tackles, 7 tackles for loss, 3 interceptions, and 16 pass breakups.

With the cancellation of the spring game, it’s unclear how many of these visits will still take place, how many will be rescheduled, and how many will be canceled altogether. I’ll leave this info here until I hear something one way or another on each of these players.

Julius Welschof – DE – Germany: Welschof already signed his National Letter of Intent to Michigan (LINK).

Karsen Barnhart – OG – Paw Paw (MI) Paw Paw: Barnhart is a 6’4″, 282 lb. player with offers from Michigan and Michigan State, among others. He’s a 3-star, the #45 offensive tackle, and #431 overall. Right now 86% of the Crystal Ball picks are for MSU, while the other 14% have gone to Michigan.

Zach Carpenter – OG – Cincinnati (OH) Moeller: Carpenter is a 6’5″, 310-pounder with offers from Arkansas, Kentucky, Maryland, Michigan, and Oregon, among others. He’s a 3-star, the #17 offensive guard, and #469 overall.

He’s a 3-star, the #19 tight end, and #439 overall. Right now he has three Crystal Ball predictions, all for Clemson. This is his official visit.

John Dunmore – WR – Hollywood (FL) Chaminade-Madonna: Dunmore is a 6’2″, 172 lb. prospect with offers from Auburn, Georgia, Florida State, Michigan, Notre Dame, and Ohio State, among others. He’s a 4-star, the #21 wide receiver, and #120 overall. Dunmore was committed to Florida for a while, but he decommitted shortly after receiving the Michigan offer. This is his official visit.

Reno (NV) Damonte Ranch quarterback Cade McNamara committed to Michigan on Friday evening. A recent decommit from Notre Dame, he also chose the Wolverines over offers from Alabama, Georgia, and USC.

McNamara is 6’1″, 187 lbs. and claims a 4.8 forty. As a junior in 2017, he completed 225/384 passes for 3,470 yards, 44 touchdowns, and 8 interceptions. Overall, he has thrown for 9,089 yards, 107 touchdowns, and 29 interceptions as a three-year starter.
