John Branham, Jr. – RB – Columbus (OH) Northland: Branham is a 5’10”, 218 lb. prospect with offers from Boston College, Cincinnati, and Pitt, among others. He’s a 3-star, the #55 running back, and #842 overall. He’s the older brother of 2020 Michigan commit Kalil Branham.

Jaylen Ellis – WR – Round Rock (TX) Cedar Ridge: Ellis is a 6’0″, 170 lb. prospect with offers from Arizona, Arizona State, Michigan, Ohio State, and Oregon, among others; he has been committed to Baylor since June of 2017, but he seems unlikely to stick with the Golden Bears. This is his official visit.

Quintel Kent – WR – Lakewood (OH) St. Edward: Kent is committed to Michigan (LINK).

Here’s a look at the expected visitors for the upcoming BBQ at the Big House.

2019

Matthew Akuchie – WR – Ft. Lauderdale (FL) St. Thomas Aquinas: Akuchie is a 6’2″, 190 lb. prospect who claims 4.75 speed.

Erick All – TE – Fairfield (OH) Fairfield: All is committed to Michigan (LINK).

Karsen Barnhart – OT – Paw Paw (MI) Paw Paw: Barnhart is committed to Michigan (LINK).

Bryce Benhart – OT – Lakeville (MN) North:

He’s a 4-star, the #5 tight end, and #177 overall. He was offered as a freshman by the Michigan staff, and he attends the alma mater of former Michigan tight end Devin Asiasi (who transferred to UCLA after one season in Ann Arbor).

Daxton Hill – S – Tulsa (OK) Booker T. Washington: Hill is a 6’0″, 187 lb. prospect with offers from virtually every big-time program in the country. He’s a 5-star, the #1 safety, and #8 overall. His crystal ball picks are 80% in favor of Oklahoma. UPDATE: Hill is no longer planning to visit for the BBQ.

Jamal Hill – S – Morrow (GA) Morrow: Hill is a 6’2″, 190 lb. prospect with offers from Alabama, Arkansas, Michigan, and Pitt, among others. He’s a 3-star, the #66 safety, and #870 overall. As a junior in 2017, he made 67 tackles, 7 tackles for loss, 3 interceptions, and 16 pass breakups.

He’s a 4-star, the #3 safety, and #43 overall. He transferred from Massachusetts to Texas after his junior season. Penn State has 100% of the crystal ball picks. This is his official visit to Ann Arbor.

It’s time for some visits and camps, and sometimes it’s hard to determine who’s camping and who’s just visiting campus. In one capacity or another, the following players are expected to be at the University of Michigan in the coming days.

2019

Erick All – TE – Fairfield (OH) Fairfield: All is a 6’4″, 225 lb. prospect with offers from Iowa, Michigan, Notre Dame, and Wisconsin, among others. He’s a 3-star, the #29 tight end, and #694 overall. This is an unofficial visit.

Lewis Cine – S – Cedar Hill (TX) Trinity: Cine is a 6’2″, 180 lb. prospect with offers from virtually every big-time program in the country, including Michigan. He’s a 4-star, the #3 safety, and #43 overall. He transferred from Massachusetts to Texas after his junior season. Penn State has 100% of the crystal ball picks. This is his official visit to Ann Arbor.

Quavaris Crouch – RB – Charlotte (NC) Harding University: Crouch is a 6’2″, 238 lb. prospect with offers from Alabama, Clemson, Florida, Florida State, Michigan, Ohio State, USC, and everyone else of note. He’s a 5-star, the #1 athlete, and #14 overall. As a junior in 2017, he ran for 3,142 yards and 31 touchdowns.

Demontae Crumes – WR – Louisville (KY) Trinity: Crumes is a 6’1″, 165-pounder with offers from Kentucky, Louisville, Memphis, and Michigan. He’s a 3-star, the #79 wide receiver, and #610 overall. He’ll be camping at Michigan on June 18.

Mahdi Hazime – OG – Dearborn (MI) Fordson: Hazime is a 6’3″, 290 lb. prospect with offers from Morehead State and Morgan State.

2020

Justin Rogers – OG – Oak Park (MI) Oak Park: Rogers is a 6’4″, 280 lb. prospect with offers from Alabama, Auburn, Clemson, Florida, Florida State, Georgia, LSU, Michigan, Ohio State, and a bunch of others. He’s a 247 Sports 4-star, the #1 offensive guard, and #13 overall. Michigan was a little late offering him (compared to other schools, anyway), and the Wolverines appear to be playing from behind. There are 13 crystal ball picks in right now, and they’re all for OSU. Rogers is visiting on Tuesday, May 29.
