Here’s a look at the next wave of visitors headed to Ann Arbor for the first weekend visit opportunity after the dead period.

GRADUATE TRANSFER
Texas center Jake Raulerson is a 6’4″, 295 lb. graduate transfer prospect. He was a backup this past season, and he started five games in 2014. As a redshirt sophomore this past season, he would have two years to play at his next destination. Michigan also recruited Raulerson out of high school in the 2013 class.

2016
Nixa (MO) Nixa tight end Chase Allen is a 6’7″, 221 lb. prospect with offers from Florida State, Michigan, Minnesota, and Missouri, among others. He’s a 247 Composite 3-star, the #26 tight end, and #571 overall. Michigan recently offered Allen, but the staff piqued his interest with their use of the tight end position. There’s a good chance that Allen ends up committing to Michigan soon. I posted a scouting report on Allen on Thursday (LINK).

Bradenton (FL) IMG Academy linebacker Joel Dublanko is a 6’3″, 227 lb. prospect with offers from Akron, Mississippi State, and Tennessee, among others. He’s a 247 Composite 3-star, the #12 inside linebacker, and #359 overall. He does not have an offer from Michigan at this time, but since the Wolverines are in a questionable situation when it comes to linebacker depth, he could be in line for one. Dublanko is a teammate of 2016 tight end Isaac Nauta (Georgia). EDIT: Dublanko is now scheduled to come next weekend instead.

Hit the jump for several more visitors.

Wayne (NJ) DePaul Catholic defensive tackle Michael Dwumfour is a 6’2″, 286 lb. prospect who is committed to Penn State; he also has offers from Boston College, Iowa, Rutgers, and West Virginia, among others. He’s a 247 Composite 3-star, the #59 defensive tackle, and #965 overall. He does not have a Michigan offer, but his Boston College offer came from the Wolverines’ new defensive coordinator, Don Brown. Dwumfour is also close friends with Paramus (NJ) Catholic defensive tackle Rashan Gary and a former teammate of early enrollee Kareem Walker.

Pembroke Pines (FL) Flanagan safety/linebacker Devin Gil committed to Michigan in June (LINK).

Baltimore (MD) Gilman offensive tackle Devery Hamilton committed to Michigan in June (LINK).

McKeesport (PA) McKeesport safety Khaleke Hudson is a 5’11”, 200 lb. prospect with offers from Michigan, Penn State, Pitt, UCLA, and Virginia Tech, among others. He’s a 247 Composite 3-star, the #31 outside linebacker, and #420 overall. Michigan entered the race late, but the Wolverines raced to near the top of his list, if not to the pole position. Hudson could play multiple positions at the next level, including running back, safety, inside linebacker, or outside linebacker, depending on the scheme. Hudson played in the Semper Fidelis All-American Bowl.

Detroit (MI) Cass Tech offensive guard Michael Onwenu committed to Michigan in June (LINK). He recently played in the U.S. Army All-American Bowl.

Baton Rouge (LA) Madison tight end Malcolm Roach is a 6’3″, 255 lb. prospect who committed to Texas in November; he also has offers from Arkansas, Mississippi State, and Tennessee, among others. He’s a 247 Composite 3-star, the #27 strongside end, and #577 overall. Michigan has not offered Roach yet, but they did set up the official visit with him. He may be a backup plan if guys like Isaac Nauta, Jacob Mathis, Chase Allen, and perhaps Levi Onwuzurike feel like they’re slipping away. UPDATE: Roach ended up visiting Texas instead, and it’s unclear if he will reschedule his Michigan visit.

Baltimore (MD) Gilman offensive tackle Stephen Spanellis is a 6’5″, 295 lb. prospect who committed to Virginia in June 2015. He also has offers from Arkansas, Miami, Michigan, Michigan State, South Carolina, Tennessee, and Virginia Tech, among others. He’s a 247 Composite 3-star, the #64 offensive tackle, and #729 overall. Spanellis is a teammate of Devery Hamilton (see above) and plays for Michigan tight end/fullback Henry Poggi’s dad at Gilman. The Wolverines have also offered 2017 quarterback Kasim Hill from the program.

Which one of these players do you want to commit the most?

I’m not an analyst by any means but Dublanko doesn’t stand out to me. He looks much smaller than 6’3″. His speed looks average at best and he seems to arm tackle most of the time (except on kickoffs!!). Not much thumping going on. Seems to read the play well and attacks ok. Reminds me of a slower, shorter Jonathan Jones (who I’m, “eh” for). Obviously, nothing like D. Jackson who looks like an absolute beast. Hope this is is more of a courtesy visit extension to appease the IMG program.

Any news on the Florida kid, Uche? He was looks like a stud.

I really like Chase Allen. But as someone recently mentioned ad nauseum within the past couple days, Asiasi is a beast, A BEAST I tell you. I want them both. I don’t care about too many tight ends.

I like Raulerson too. Big enough, real smart, mature offensive lineman are always a good thing to have around.

Yeah, it looks like he took his visit to Texas instead. I’ll try to keep an eye out to see if he reschedules.
