Seeing the OL makes me think, “Yes, we could use more of them croots.”

Then it leads me down the rabbit hole of, “Why is our OL not as improved as last year?” Which makes me think, “Is it due to competition in practice and our DL?”

Then it makes me think, “Well, to get them OL croots, we need to showcase some good things vs. Iowa.”

Then I think, “Iowa is really going to set the tone for the rest of the season. If our DL shows it can do some things against them corn fed boys, it’s possible we can do good things this year.”

Then I think, “I do love the ups and downs with our fanbase, and you really only get to experience it in season. I remember losing to Iowa by 1 in 2016, but I don’t remember the sky-is-falling feeling that the fanbase surely felt in November of 2016.”

That’s when I think, “Thanks for the blog, Thunder, go blue.”

Is Keeler wearing one of those Russian mink hats, or maybe the less expensive nutria version of it? Or is that really his hair? If so, that’s got to be the most incredibly minute eyebrow to hairline delta I’ve ever seen.
Either way, if he’s a good fit, then we must get!

Hope we can land him. We need a NT for 2023!

Yes we do. Have to think about the future in CFB. Obviously that applies to recruiting every week but also roster management decisions and red-shirting.

I count about 9 5th year players listed as starters on MSU’s depth chart. Ours has 2. That’s one way to make up for a talent disadvantage.

Maybe I’m not remembering correctly, but it seems like you often make the argument that 5th year guys don’t matter…

They matter if you have them.

With clarity on eligibility requirements – the games cap – it’s more important to be strategic about how you manage this. Michigan’s competition will be.
