Despite not having one snap on defense on his Junior Hud vid, l have Anderson for a Middle Guard.

He’s pretty quick, pretty nasty and a better height for the position. He’s gonna have to spend time taking off baby fat and putting on good weight no matter which side of the ball he plays on. But I think I see an honorable mention or better interior defensive lineman. I think he’s a real good center prospect as well, but at 6’2″ 310-ish, when he’s a grown up man and with his good feet, I think he should be real tough on BIG centers. I don’t think you can consistently keep him out from under you. I’d have him slanting by your center on about every snap.

Kind of makes me think of Billy Harris who I don’t think won any awards but was a for sure three year starter, made some real big plays and was a very solid Wolverine DT.

Whatever Thunder assigns him as a TTB ranking, I’ll bump 6-8 points the minute we hear he’s going over to the D.

I also think one of Rummler or Barnhart get past Filiaga this year. I can also see a scenario where Stueber makes Ryan Hayes wait, and they both get past Filliaga.

I have come to love massive OGs as much and likely more than the next guy but I have never been able to stop wondering why there were only about 8 snaps on Filliaga’s senior film. I’d like it to be something stupid, like someone screwed up the vid, but my fear is that he was mostly just a big assed statue.

I’d really like to be very, very wrong on that one.

I have to think at least one of McGrone, Hutchinson, and Ross will go to the NFL after this season.

I agree, especially with Ross having already lost about a year to injury.
