If you’re looking for updates on Michigan’s defensive recruiting in the 2019 class, check out last week’s post here (LINK).

ADDED TO THE BOARD: 2019

Tampa (FL) Catholic wide receiver Ahmarean Brown was offered by Michigan. He’s a 3-star, the #68 wide receiver, and #519 overall. He has offers from Alabama, Virginia Tech, and West Virginia, among others.

Buford (GA) Buford offensive tackle Carter Colquitt was offered by Michigan. He’s a 6’6″, 295 lb. prospect with offers from Arkansas, Auburn, Florida, and Oregon, among others. He’s a 3-star, the #72 offensive tackle, and #738 overall. Colquitt is the teammate of 2018 Michigan running back signee Christian Turner.

Hollywood (FL) Chaminade-Madonna wide receiver John Dunmore decommitted from Florida. He’s a 6’2″, 172 lb. prospect with other offers from Auburn, Florida, Georgia, Notre Dame, and Oregon, among others. He decommitted from the Gators just a few days after receiving the offer from Michigan, and he seems very interested in the Wolverines. He’s a 4-star, the #28 wide receiver, and #151 overall.

Hit the jump for a bunch more offers.

Monument (CO) Parker Ridge quarterback Ty Evans, a Colorado commit, was offered by Michigan. He’s a 6’2″, 192 lb. prospect with offers from Arkansas and Ole Miss, among others. He’s a 3-star, the #11 pro-style quarterback, and #391 overall. Evans was committed to Arkansas at one point, where short-lived Michigan coach Dan Enos was employed, and the Wolverines offered while Enos was on the staff. It remains to be seen how hard Michigan will pursue Evans now that Enos is in Tuscaloosa.

Monroe (NC) Sun Valley quarterback Sam Howell was offered by Michigan. He’s a 6’1″, 217 lb. prospect with offers from Arkansas, Clemson, Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, and Ohio State, among others. He’s a 4-star, the #4 pro-style quarterback, and #168 overall. As a junior in 2017, he completed 225/382 passes (58.9%) for 3,372 yards, 36 touchdowns, and 11 interceptions. He also ran 230 times for 1,594 yards and 24 touchdowns.

Alabaster (AL) Thompson offensive tackle Amari Kight was offered by Michigan. He’s a 6’7″, 315 lb. mammoth with offers from Alabama, Auburn, Florida, Georgia, and LSU, among others. He’s a 4-star, the #14 offensive tackle, and #98 overall. Kight is expected to end up at Alabama, and he protects the blind side of Taulia Tagovailoa (see below).

Cartersville (GA) Cartersville tight end Jackson Lowe was offered by Michigan. He’s a 6’5″, 242 lb. prospect with offers from Alabama, Auburn, Clemson, Florida, and Georgia, among others. He’s a 247 Sports 3-star, the #14 tight end, and #362 overall. Lowe caught passes from quarterback Trevor Lawrence, who is headed to Clemson as the overall #1 player in the 2018 class. Cartersville just sent tight end Miller Forristall to Alabama in the 2017 class, too.

Bradenton (FL) IMG Academy offensive guard Dontae Lucas was offered by Michigan. He’s a 6’3″, 323 lb. prospect with offers from Alabama, Auburn, Florida, Florida State, Georgia, and Miami, among others. He’s a 4-star, the #8 offensive guard, and #176 overall. Lucas just recently announced he was transferring from Miami (FL) Senior, so he has Miami-area roots, and it’s very tough to recruit big-time prospects from that area.

Oklahoma City (OK) Millwood running back Marcus Major was offered by Michigan. He’s a 247 Sports 3-star, the #40 running back, and #495 overall. He has offers from Arkansas, Oklahoma, and Texas, among others. Major had 100 carries for 1,250 yards and 33 touchdowns as a junior in 2017.

Reno (NV) Damonte Ranch quarterback Cade McNamara, a Notre Dame commit, was offered by Michigan. He’s a 6’1″, 187 lb. prospect with other offers from Tennessee and Wisconsin, among others. He’s a 4-star, the #7 pro-style quarterback, and #246 overall. As a three-year starter through his junior year, he has already thrown for 9,089 yards, 107 touchdowns, and 29 interceptions. McNamara has been committed to the Fighting Irish since July of 2017.

West Bloomfield (MI) West Bloomfield wide receiver Trebron “Tre” Mosley was offered by Michigan. Mosley is a 6’2″, 175 lb. prospect with offers from Boston College, Cincinnati, Indiana, Minnesota, Syracuse, and some MAC programs. He’s a 247 Sports 3-star, the #74 wide receiver, and #518 overall. Mosley plays for former Michigan wide receiver Ronald Bellamy; he’s also a teammate of 2019 linebacker Lance Dixon and 2020 linebacker Cornell Wheeler, both of whom also have offers.

Carrollton (GA) Carrollton offensive guard Ty Murray was offered by Michigan. He’s a 6’4″, 300 lb. prospect with offers from Appalachian State and Troy. He’s a 247 Sports 3-star, the #27 offensive guard, and #457 overall. Murray said after the offer that Michigan was his top school . . . and considering the other offers, I would sure hope so.

Griffin (GA) Spalding wide receiver Zion Puckett was offered by Michigan. He’s a 6’1″, 190 lb. wideout with offers from Alabama, Florida State, Georgia, Georgia Tech, and Stanford, among others. He’s a 4-star, the #38 wide receiver, and #224 overall. He claims a 4.46 forty. Puckett is a physical, explosive athlete with great acceleration who could also play safety at the next level.

Jefferson (GA) Jefferson tight end Garmon Randolph was offered by Michigan. He’s a 6’6″, 215 lb. prospect with offers from Auburn, Florida, and South Carolina, among others. He’s a 247 Sports 3-star, the #13 tight end, and #331 overall. As a junior in 2017, he caught 12 passes for 175 yards and 2 touchdowns.

Washington (DC) St. John’s running back Keilan Robinson was offered by Michigan. He’s a 5’10”, 181 lb. prospect with offers from Arizona, Maryland, North Carolina, and Penn State, among others. He’s a 3-star, the #27 running back, and #394 overall. He’s a speedy back who runs pretty tough for his size. Robinson is one of many St. John’s players offered by the Wolverines, and he’s a teammate of 2018 quarterback Kevin Doyle, who is committed to Michigan.

Houston (TX) North Forest offensive tackle Javonne Shepherd was offered by Michigan. He’s a 6’7″, 305 lb. prospect with offers from Alabama, Georgia, Oklahoma, TCU, Texas, and Texas A&M, among others. He’s a 4-star, the #32 offensive tackle, and #280 overall. All four Crystal Ball picks are for Texas A&M right now.

Alabaster (AL) Thompson quarterback Taulia Tagovailoa was offered by Michigan. He’s listed at 5’11”, 202 lbs., though he looks bigger on film. He has offers from Alabama, Florida, Nebraska, Oklahoma State, Oregon, and Tennessee, among others. He’s a 4-star, the #6 pro-style quarterback, and #220 overall. As you can guess from the name, he’s the younger brother of Alabama quarterback Tua Tagovailoa. The family moved from Hawaii to Alabama for Tua’s freshman year.

Bradenton (FL) IMG Academy offensive tackle Charles Turner was offered by Michigan. He’s a 6’5″, 270 lb. prospect with offers from Auburn, Florida,Kentucky, and Missouri, among others. He’s a 3-star, the #61 offensive tackle, and #552 overall. He’s a teammate of Dontae Lucas (see above) and 2019 Michigan linebacker commit Charles Thomas.

Trussville (AL) Hewitt-Trusville quarterback Paul Tyson was offered by Michigan. He’s a 6’4″, 210 lb. prospect with an offer from Alabama. He’s the great-grandson of former Alabama coach Paul “Bear” Bryant, so I’m guessing no other offers matter besides the one from the Crimson Tide. He’s a 4-star, the #8 pro-style quarterback, and #253 overall. As a junior in 2017, he was 238/336 for 3,392 yards, 36 touchdowns, and 4 interceptions.

Katy (TX) Seven Lakes tight end David Ugwoegbu was offered by Michigan. He’s a 6’5″, 215 lb. prospect with offers from Alabama, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, Texas, Texas A&M, and Texas Tech, among others. He’s a 247 Sports 3-star, the #22 weakside end, and #367 overall. As a junior in 2017, he caught 17 passes for 320 yards and 1 touchdown.

OFF THE BOARD

Coffeyville (TX) Heritage wide receiver Kam Brown committed to Texas A&M. Brown is the #20 receiver and #113 overall player in the class. His dad, Larry Brown, played at TCU and was a Super Bowl MVP in the mid-1990s with the Dallas Cowboys.
