ADDED TO THE BOARD: 2021

Ryan Barnes – CB – Gaithersburg (MD) Quince Orchard: Barnes is a 6’2″, 175 lb. prospect with offers from Georgia and LSU, among others. He’s currently unranked. Michigan is hitting Quince Orchard hard this cycle, with offers out to defensive tackle Marcus Bradley and linebacker Demeioun Robinson, too.

Tristan Bounds – OT – Wallingford (CT) Choate Rosemary Hall: Bounds is a 6’7″, 258-pounder with offers from Maryland and West Virginia, among others. He’s a 3-star, the #64 offensive tackle, and #671 overall. He also has an offer from Virginia Tech, where his mother worked and where he was born. Bounds fit the mold of the long, lanky tackle that I like, so I think ranking at #671 overall is too low.

J.T. Carver – K – Martin (TN) Westview: Carver is a 5’9″, 180 lb. prospect. He’s ranked as Chris Sailer’s #26 kicker in the class and as a 4.5-star. Carver is a teammate of 2022 quarterback Ty Simpson, and both received a visit from Jim Harbaugh last week. (If you follow me on Twitter, I’ve been posting updates on some players that the coaches are visiting.)

Hit the jump for more.

Corey Collier – WR – Miami (FL) Palmetto: Collier was one of a trio of Palmetto prospects offered by Michigan recently. Collier is a 6’2″, 170-pounder with offers from Clemson, Florida, Florida State, and Georgia, among others. He’s a 4-star, the #6 cornerback, and #64 overall. He claims a 4.83 forty and a 4.43 shuttle.

Pat Coogan – OT – Chicago (IL) Marist: Coogan is a 6’5″, 275 lb. prospect with offers from Oregon, Stanford, and West Virginia, among others. He’s a 3-star, the #55 offensive tackle, and #567 overall.

Kenny Fletcher – DE – Delran (NJ) Delran: Fletcher is a 6’4″, 205-pound player. He does not yet have a recruiting profile at the major sites, but he should soon. He is a teammate of Michigan signee R.J. Moten.

Jaydon Hood – LB – Ft. Lauderdale (FL) St. Thomas Aquinas: Hood is a 6’1″, 212-pounder with offers from Florida State, LSU, and Penn State, among others. St. Thomas Aquinas is a powerhouse school, and Michigan has a bunch of offers out at the school.

Jakailin “J.K.” Johnson – CB – St. Louis (MO) DeSmet: Johnson is a 6’0″, 168 lb. prospect with offers from Georgia, Notre Dame, and Ohio State, among others. He’s a 4-star, the #5 cornerback, and #51 overall. Of the four crystal ball picks so far, three of them are for Ohio State.

Colby McDonald – RB – Washington (DC) St. John’s: McDonald is a 5’10”, 200-pounder with offers from Maryland and Tennessee, among others. He’s a 3-star, the #73 running back, and #882 overall.

Dakota Mitchell – S – Winter Park (FL) Winter Park: Mitchell is a 5’11”, 170 lb. prospect with offers from Auburn, Florida, LSU, and Miami, among others. He’s a 3-star, the #15 safety, and #373 overall.

Colin Mobley – DE – Hyattsville (MD) DeMatha: Mobley is a 6’4″, 245-pounder with offers from Florida, LSU, Ohio State, and Stanford, among others. He’s a 4-star, the #19 strongside end, and #320 overall.

Brashard Smith – WR – Miami (FL) Palmetto: Smith is a 5’8″, 177 lb. prospect who committed to Florida in early January. He’s a 3-star, the #4 all-purpose back, and #330 overall.

Troy Stellato – WR – Fort Lauderdale (FL) Cardinal Gibbons: Stellato is a 6’0″, 172-pounder with offers from Alabama, Auburn, Clemson, and Ohio State, among others. He’s a 3-star, the #60 wide receiver, and #347 overall.

Landyn Watson – DE – Hutto (TX) Hutto: Watson is a 6’3″, 230 lb. prospect with offers from LSU, Penn State, and Tennessee, among others. He’s a 4-star, the #15 weakside end, and #245 overall.

OFF THE BOARD

Jake Briningstool – TE – Brentwood (TN) Ravenwood: Briningstool committed to Clemson.

Beaux Collins – WR – Bellflower (CA) St. John Bosco: Collins committed to Clemson.

Cade Denhoff – DE – Lakeland (FL) Christian: Denhoff committed to Clemson.

Korey Foreman – DT – Corona (CA) Centennial: Foreman committed to Clemson, too. Are you noticing a trend? Unlike everyone else in this post, Foreman did not have an offer from Michigan, but it’s noteworthy that he’s the #1 player in the 2021 class.

Taizse Johnson – DT – Washington (DC) St. John’s: Johnson committed to Maryland. Michigan just offered him in the previous week.

Devon Williams – LB – Dublin (OH) Coffman: Williams committed to Kentucky.
