Peyton Smith – QB – Traverse City (MI) Central: Smith is a 6’3″, 190-pounder with a couple lower-level offers. Michigan is considering bringing him in as a preferred walk-on quarterback. Thomas Fidone – TE – Council Bluffs (IA) Lewis Central: Fidone is a 6’4″, 218-pounder with offers from Iowa, Michigan, and Nebraska, among others. He’s a 4-star, the #10 tight end, and #274 overall. The crystal balls are 86% for Nebraska right now. Jim Harbaugh went to watch him play basketball earlier this week. I had Fidone listed as visiting last weekend, but he’s visiting this weekend instead.
Kelvin Gilliam – DE – Highland Springs (VA) Highland Springs: Gilliams is a 6’3″, 250-pounder with offers from Michigan, Penn State, and Tennessee, among others. He’s a 4-star, the #12 weakside end, and #184 overall.
2022
Anthony Lucas – DE – Scottsdale (AZ) Chaparral: Lucas is a 6’4″, 279 lb. prospect with offers from Arizona State, Cal, Iowa State, and Michigan. Lucas grew up in Florida as a fan of Miami and also likes UCLA, but neither school has offered yet. Chaparral is the alma mater of former Michigan players Taylor Lewan and Craig Roh.
