Here’s a look at the current recruiting situation, with a special bonus update on the 2021 class.
Ike Iwunnah – DT – Garland (TX) Lakeview Centennial: Iwunnah is a 6’4″, 285 lb. prospect who committed to Colorado last week. He did not sign during the early signing period, so Michigan could still sway him in the next week or so before he is likely to sign. He’s a 3-star, the #66 DT, and #1187 overall.
Alfonzo Allen – CB – Hallandale (FL) Hallandale: Allen is a 6’1″, 180 lb. prospect with offers from Alabama, Clemson, Florida, and LSU, among others. He’s a 4-star, the #12 safety, and #170 overall.
Jordan Allen – CB – Lafayette (LA) Christian: Allen is a 5’11”, 182-pounder with offers from Arkansas, Miami, and Mississippi State, among others. He’s a 3-star, the #54 cornerback, and #550 overall.

Marcus Allen – CB – Marietta (GA) Walton: Allen is a 6’2″, 165 lb. prospect with offers from Florida State, Georgia, and Iowa, among others. He’s currently unranked.
Terrance Brooks – CB – Plano (TX) John Paul II: Brooks is a 6’0″, 185-pounder with offers from Florida, LSU, Notre Dame, and Texas, among others. He’s a 4-star, the #29 cornerback, and #285 overall. He’s the son of Chet Brooks, a former safety for Texas A&M and the San Francisco 49ers.
Ollie Gordon – RB – Euless (TX) Trinity: Gordon is a 6’1″, 210 lb. prospect with offers from Iowa State, Oklahoma State, and TCU, among others. He’s a 3-star, the #67 running back, and #746 overall. As a junior in 2020, he ran 209 times for 2,083 yards and 28 touchdowns.
Jaylon Guilbeau – CB – Port Arthur (TX) Memorial: Guilbeau is a 4-star, the #14 cornerback, and #134 overall. He committed to Texas in September of 2020.
Denver Harris – CB – Houston (TX) North Shore: Harris is a 6’1″, 185-pounder with offers from every big-time program in the country. He’s a 5-star, the #3 cornerback, and #6 overall.
Aaron Hester – DE – Neptune Beach (FL) Fletcher: Hester is a 6’3″, 221 lb. prospect with offers from Florida State and Miami, among others. He’s a 3-star, the #25 weakside end, and #397 overall.
Landon Hullaby – S – Mansfield (TX) Timberview: Hullaby is a 6’0″, 185-pounder with offers from Auburn, Notre Dame, and USC, among others. He’s a 4-star, the #17 safety, and #306 overall.
Tayven Jackson – QB – Greenwood (IN) Center Grove: Jackson is a 6’5″, 193 lb. prospect with offers from Florida State, Iowa, TCU, and West Virginia, among others. He’s a 3-star, the #19 pro-style quarterback, and #434 overall.
Kody Jones – S – Memphis (TN) Germantown: Jones is a 5’11”, 180-pounder with offers from Auburn, Florida State, and Virginia Tech, among others. He’s a 4-star, the #15 athlete, and #279 overall.
Jaylin Marshall – S – Hallandale (FL) Hallandale: Marshall is a 6’3″, 190 lb. prospect with offers from Alabama, Oklahoma, and Texas, among others. He’s a 4-star, the #18 safety, and #323 overall.
Micah Pollard – LB – Jacksonville (FL) Bartram Trail: Pollard is a 6’3″, 200-pounder with offers from Arizona, Mississippi State, and Virginia Tech, among others. He’s currently unranked. As a junior in 2020, he made 22 tackles for loss and 11 sacks.
Anthony Rose – S – Hallandale (FL) Hallandale: Rose is a 6’4″, 180 lb. prospect who, as far as I can tell, counts Hallandale as at least his third school during his high school career. He’s currently unranked but has offers from LSU, Penn State, and South Carolina, among others.
Bobby Taylor – CB – Katy (TX) Katy: Taylor is a 6’1″, 180-pounder with offers from Alabama and Texas A&M, among others. He’s a 4-star, the #25 cornerback, and #208 overall. He’s the son of former Notre Dame and NFL cornerback Bobby Taylor.
Edric Weldon – LB – Hallandale (FL) Hallandale: Weldon is a 6’5″, 210 lb. prospect with offers from Alabama, Florida, Florida State, and LSU, among others. He’s currently unranked. Though he’s listed as a safety, I think he will probably move closer to the line of scrimmage as his body continues to mature.
Quency Wiggins – DE – Baton Rouge (LA) Madison Prep: Wiggins is a 6’6″, 265-pounder with offers from LSU, Mississippi State, and USC, among others. He’s a 3-star, the #31 strongside end, and #549 overall.
