TRANSFERS

Ross Douglas, LB (Rutgers): Douglas made 2 tackles and 1 pass breakup in a 56-0 blowout loss to Ohio State. Rutgers is 1-4.

Shane Morris, QB (CMU): Morris was 21/42 for 171 yards, 0 touchdowns, and 3 interceptions in a 28-8 loss to Boston College. He now has 9 touchdowns and 8 interceptions on the year.

Keith Washington, CB (Copiah-Lincoln C.C.): Washington made 3 tackles and 1 pass breakup in a 35-10 loss to Jones Community College in week four. No stats are available for week five yet.

FORMER COMMITMENTS

George Campbell, WR (FSU): Campbell made 1 catch for 1 yards, 1 kickoff return for 16 yards, and 1 tackle in a 26-19 win over Wake Forest.

Chris Clark, TE (Pitt): Clark made 5 catches for 23 yards and 1 touchdown in a 42-10 victory over Rice.

Shaun Crawford, CB (Notre Dame): Crawford had 2 tackles and 0.5 sacks in a 52-17 win over Miami-OH.

A.J. Dillon, RB (Boston College): Dillon had career highs in carries (25) and yards (120) and scored 1 touchdown in a 28-8 win over Shane Morris and Central Michigan.

Damien Harris, RB (Alabama): Harris ran 7 times for 67 yards in a 66-3 win over Ole Miss. He’s second on the team with 376 rushing yards and 8.36 yards per carry this season.

David Reese II, LB (Florida): Reese made 6 tackles in a 38-24 win over Vanderbilt.

Darian Roseboro, DE (N.C. State): Roseboro made 5 tackles, 1 tackle for loss, and 1 pass breakup in a 33-25 win over Syracuse.

Garrett Taylor, S (PSU): Taylor made 1 tackle in Penn State’s 45-14 victory over Indiana.

Victor Viramontes, QB (Riverside C.C.): Viramontes completed 11/18 passes for 158 yards, 2 touchdowns, and 2 interceptions; he also ran 12 times for 132 yards and 1 touchdown. Riverside beat Cerritos College by a score of 31-20 and is now 5-0 this season.

Rashad Weaver, DE (Pitt): Weaver batted down 2 passes and had a quarterback hurry in Pitt’s 42-10 win over Rice.

Mike Weber, RB (Ohio State): Weber had 10 carries for 44 yards and a career-high 3 touchdowns in a 56-0 win over Rutgers.

FORMER COACHES

D.J. Durkin, Head Coach (Maryland): Durkin pulled off a bit of an upset with a 31-24 win over Minnesota. The Gophers had been 3-0, and Maryland is down to third- (or fourth-) stringer Max Bortenschlager at quarterback. Bortenschlager was 18/28 for 164 yards and 2 touchdowns.

Brady Hoke, Defensive Line Coach (Tennessee): Tennessee was blown out, 41-0, by Georgia on Saturday. The defensive unit made 5 tackles for loss and 2 sacks, but Georgia still ran for 294 yards.

Roy Manning, Outside Linebackers Coach (Washington State): Manning helped the Cougars beat #5 ranked USC by a score of 30-27 on Friday night.

Scott Shafer, Defensive Coordinator (Middle Tennessee State): Shafer and MTSU lost to Florida Atlantic, 38-20. MTSU is #74 in scoring defense and #47 in total defense this season after finishing at #109 and #96 in those respective categories last season.
