A few of the CBs can play safety. Sims and German Green both look like options back there. At this point I think the coaches are just trying to find long, rangy guys who can play multiple positions back there.
Good news. Hawkins sounds like the type of kid who just wants to get out there and play.
Two would be great in they are Milton and Shough. I don’t see DTR coming, but we’ll see seen enough.
I hope Peters is ready to be the backup. Saturday’s spring game should allow Peters to really show his stuff.
