Do you think this game has the potential to achieve the same amount of prestige as the other two major all-star games? The UA game did it with the power of ESPN behind it, not sure if semper fi can do the same….

No, I don't think it will get as big as the others. It's starting from behind, and as you said, the UA game got jump-started because of its attachment to ESPN. Unless sponsorships get mucked up or some new allegiances are made, the Semper Fi bowl will probably be a second-tier game.

Wrong…Definitely think they'll achieve the success Tom Lemming Chris Dombroski and Brett Cooper are apart of the committee…These men were largely part of the success of the AA game…There are many great athletes in this nation that didn't get picked for the other games but that doesn't mean they couldn't compete either! Semper Fi allows those players to have a plateau to stand on…

Does that really mean I'm wrong? Or does it mean that you have a different opinion? I think it's the latter.

Kyle Bosch is a consensus top 100 player (i think?) I wonder why he chose this game when at this point it's considered behind the other 2 in prestige. Could be still end up playing in one of the big 2?

Yes, he was. I must have had a brain fart when I had Charlton listed instead of Hurst.

Thunder, what is your impression of Tru Wilson? I am amazed we managed to get a sempre fidelis participants to join us as a walk on. Second coming of KOVACS?

I was familiar with Wilson long before I thought he would be an option for us. I run Recruiting Season and keep track of in-state players who are being recruited, and he was one of the guys I’d tracked for a year or so. Based on what I’ve seen of other preferred walk-ons in recent years, I think Wilson is the best skill walk-on we’ll have brought in during that span. If anyone has a chance to be the second coming of Kovacs, it would be him…or Jordan Glasgow, since both of his brothers turned out to be pretty good. Wilson is better than Bo Dever, Jack Wangler, Tyler Cochran, A.J. Pearson, etc.
