He’s also a former teammate of Michigan incoming freshman defensive tackle Chris Hinton (and 2020 Stanford commit Myles Hinton).

Jacobe Covington – CB – Scottsdale (AZ) Saguaro: Covington is a 6’1″, 193-pounder with offers from Arizona, Arizona State, LSU, Oklahoma, and Oregon, among others. He’s a 4-star, the #23 cornerback, and #279 overall. He took an official visit to Oklahoma last month, and all six of his crystal balls are for the Sooners. He’s a teammate of 2021 defensive end Quintin Somerville, who visited Michigan recently.
