If you’re into the praying type of thing, your thoughts would be appreciated for one of my program’s football players who is having heart surgery today. Hopefully I’ll have good news to report soon.
UPDATE: The player came through surgery just fine. The problem was worse than the surgeons expected, but they are confident that it’s been fixed. They said he should be fully recovered in six months and might even be able to play football again.
