I seem to recall that at one point he was high on Michigan. Is there’s non zero chance he flips to us?

Porcher? I don’t think the coaches would waste an official visit on him if they thought they had no chance.

Are there a fixed number of official visits that a program has each year? Or is it strictly up to the individual program to determine what they can afford?

There is a fixed number. I’m blanking on the official number, but I want to say it’s 50. It may be more than that because it sounds low. But regardless, FBS teams can only host a certain number of official visitors. So especially when you have a lot of interest from high-profile prospects, you don’t want to “waste” an official visit on guys who aren’t interested or guys who are just coming to have a good time with their friends. That’s one reason why it was a pretty lame move by Billy Price (who now plays for OSU, naturally) to come a few years ago and tweet anti-Michigan/pro-OSU stuff while he was on campus.

Oh, okay. Yes, he is/was high on Michigan. He said that Michigan was tied at the top of his list at one point, but he committed to Ole Miss shortly afterward.

Donavan Jeter looks like he’s playing against Jr. High School level competition. He looks way bigger than 250 lbs., unless the kid playing tackle for the black team goes about 175. I don’t know how you can evaluate the kid off that film.

I’ve heard positive things about Jeter and Tufele so far, but that’s about it.
