2018

Emil Ekiyor – OG – Indianapolis (IN) Cathedral: Ekiyor is “committed” to Michigan (LINK). He has been flirting with – and visiting – Alabama a lot lately, and many people expect him to flip to the Crimson Tide. A planned visit to Michigan has been canceled.

Hassan Haskins – RB – Eureka (MO) Eureka: Haskins isa  6’1″, 202 lb. prospect with offers from Memphis, Michigan, Purdue, and others. He’s a 247 Composite 3-star, the #94 running back, and #1552 overall. He received a Michigan offer a couple weeks ago, and there’s a decent chance that he ends up committing to Michigan soon.

Hit the jump for some other visitors from the 2019 and 2020 classes.

2019

Chris Hinton, Jr. – DE – Norcross (GA) Greater Atlanta Christian: Hinton is committed to Michigan (LINK).

Mazi Smith – DT – Kentwood (MI) East Kentwood:

2020

Myles Hinton – OT – Norcross (GA) Greater Atlanta Christian: Hinton is a 6’6″, 323 lb. offensive tackle. He’s the younger brother of Chris, Jr. (see above) and the son of Chris, Sr. The 247 Sports Crystal Ball predictions are 100% in favor of Michigan. According to 247 Sports, he’s the #2 offensive tackle and #11 overall in the 2020 class.

The less than stellar performance on the field will result in a less than stellar performance on the recruiting front.
The Ekiyor escape is only the beginning folks.

Ekiyor was rumored to be on his way out long, long before the MSU game.

This is hilarius! The ‘beginning’ of what? LOL. In a country of over 300 million people of which over One Million play high school football annually and given that Michigan is one of the few universities that essentially recruits itself…….

…….and Harbaugh certainly has a more than proven track record of being able ‘to recruit’ ; mmmmm I don’t think Michigan football will ever have a problem getting 25ish top notch football players to sign loi’s every year.

I do have ??? regarding Harbs OL recruiting as well as some other things but getting enough top notch talent from top to bottom annually, in general, will never be a problem at Michigan.
      As I See It……………..INTJohn

I wonder if we went after 2 QB’s in this recruiting class because Speight will undoubtedly come back next year and either Peters or McCaffery (already signing off on Mazone leaving) will transfer out. I’m sure having 5 QBs is a nice luxury (necessity?) to have but my thoughts is that having four legit prospects on the roster is plenty…

    Thunder,
What are your general thoughts about Haskins? I haven’t been able to find much film on him myself.
