COMMITMENT

Memphis (TN) Lausanne running back Eric Gray committed to Michigan (LINK).

Stuart (FL) Martin wide receiver George Johnson III committed to Michigan (LINK).

OFF THE BOARD

Fort Lauderdale (FL) St. Thomas Aquinas safety Jordan Battle committed to Ohio State.

Pickerington (OH) Central defensive tackle DeWayne Carter, Jr. committed to Duke. This is the same school that sent Taco Charlton to Michigan, but I don’t think the Wolverines were pursuing him very hard.

Hit the jump for several more updates.

Bradenton (FL) IMG Academy safety Lejond Cavazos committed to Ohio State.

Louisville (KY) Butler wide receiver Demontae Crumes committed to Kentucky.

Belleville (MI) Belleville offensive tackle Devontae Dobbs committed to Michigan State. I posted a link to an article about his recruitment, which might give you some insight (LINK).

Flint (MI) Carman Ainsworth defensive end Michael Fletcher committed to Michigan State. I don’t mind too often when the Wolverines whiff on an in-state prospect who goes to MSU, but I think Fletcher will be a good player down the road.

Wichita (KS) Northwest running back Breece Hall committed to Iowa State. This is a pretty good get for the Cyclones, since Hall had offers from the likes of Michigan, Missouri, Nebraska, TCU, and Tennessee, among others.

Oklahoma City (OK) Millwood running back Marcus Major committed to Oklahoma.

Tucker (GA) Tucker defensive end Derrick McLendon committed to Florida State.

West Bloomfield (MI) West Bloomfield wide receiver Tre Mosley committed to Michigan State. He said Michigan and Michigan State were largely neck-and-neck, but he felt more at home in East Lansing.

Washington (DC) St. John’s running back Keilan Robinson committed to Alabama. Robinson is the type of small-ish running back (5’9″, 184 lbs.) who will probably only see spot duty at a place like Alabama.

MISCELLANEY

Washington (DC) St. John’s safety Quinten Johnson said he would announce his college decision at the Opening, which ends tomorrow. He’s expected to pick Michigan.

Blairstown (NJ) Blair Academy defensive end David Ojabo is slated to announce his college decision today. He is expected to pick Michigan, too.
