Ellis Brooks – LB – Richmond (VA) Benedictine: Brooks is a 6’2″, 233 lb. prospect who was committed to Duke at one point. He also has offers from LSU, Maryland, Michigan, Northwestern, Notre Dame, Oregon, and Virginia, among others. He’s a 4-star, the #12 inside linebacker, and #267 overall. He has had a bit of a meandering journey with the Duke commitment, a few different leaders, a few teams slow-playing him, etc. In fact, both Michigan and Notre Dame have pulled back at times. UPDATE: Michigan is no longer pursuing Brooks.

Joel Honigford – OT – Sugarcreek (OH) Garaway: Honigford committed to Michigan in June of 2016 (LINK). This is his official visit.

Oliver Martin – WR – Iowa City (IA) West: Martin is a 6’0″, 188 lb. prospect with offers from Iowa, Michigan, Michigan State, Notre Dame, and Ohio State, among others. He’s a 4-star, the #28 wide receiver, and #170 overall. He played in the U.S. Army All-American Bowl a few weeks ago, and as a senior in 2016, he caught 85 passes for 1,272 yards and 14 touchdowns. He was also Gatorade Player of the Year in Iowa. Michigan had been his leader at one point but backed off when they thought Nico Collins was coming. Now that Collins seems to be headed for Georgia, Michigan has picked things back up for Martin. This will be an official visit.

ADDED TO THE BOARD: 2019

Minneapolis (MN) Edina offensive tackle Quinn Carroll was offered by Michigan. He’s 6’6″, 280 lbs. and has offers from Arkansas, LSU, Minnesota, Penn State, Virginia Tech, and Wisconsin, among others. He claims a 300 lb. bench, a 490 lb. squat, and a 500 lb. deadlift. He’s a big body and has pretty good technique, but since he’s only a sophomore in high school, it’s hard to project where he would be best suited to play on the line. Carroll plans to visit Michigan during the final weekend of January.

Orange (NJ) Orange cornerback Nyquee Hawkins was offered by Michigan. He’s a 5’11”, 160-pounder with offers from Penn State and UConn. He’s a long-striding corner who could also develop into a wide receiver.

ADDED TO THE BOARD: 2019

Cincinnati (OH) Walnut Hills defensive tackle Jowon Briggs was offered by Michigan. He’s a 6’2″, 275 lb. prospect with offers from Cincinnati, Kentucky, Ohio State, and Wisconsin, among others. Briggs is a bit sawed-off and looks like a pure nose tackle right now, but he’s only a sophomore and could add another inch or two to his height before he stops growing. He does a very nice job of using his hands, creating separation, and using leverage to beat offensive linemen.

Santa Ana (CA) Mater Dei quarterback J.T. Daniels was offered by Michigan. He’s a 6’3″, 195 lb. prospect with offers from Cal, Notre Dame, UCLA, USC, and Washington, among others. He’s a 247 Sports 4-star, the #1 pro-style quarterback, and #7 overall. He’s the first quarterback to be offered by the Wolverines in the 2019 class. As a freshman in 2015, he completed 174/313 passes for 3,042 yards, 33 touchdowns, and just 4 interceptions. Meanwhile, here are this year’s highlights:

Santa Ana (CA) Mater Dei wide receiver Horace “Bru” McCoy was offered by Michigan. He’s a 6’3″, 205 lb. prospect with offers from Alabama, Notre Dame, Oregon, USC, and Washington, among others. A teammate of Daniels, McCoy plays some wide receiver and linebacker, and he could end up at either of those two positions or at safety in college. You can see his highlights here (LINK).
