Davis Beal – LB – Austin (TX) Vandegrift: Beal is being looked at as a long snapper.

Bryce Benhart – OT – Lakeville (MN) North: Benhart is a 6’8″, 305 lb. prospect with offers from Michigan, Minnesota, and Wisconsin, among others. He’s a 4-star, the #20 offensive tackle, and #183 overall. The crystal balls are currently 56% in favor of Wisconsin.

Giles Jackson, Wolverine

Oakley (CA) Freedom athlete Giles Jackson committed to Michigan on September 10. He picked the Wolverines over offers from Cal, Florida, Oregon, and USC, among others. I, however, was extremely busy when he committed and didn’t have time to put together a post until now (note: I’m writing this at 4:32 a.m. because I can’t sleep).

Jackson is listed at 5’8″ and 175 lbs., but he lists himself at 5’10” and 185 lbs. on his Hudl page. He ran a 4.43 forty and a 3.85 shuttle, along with doing a 38.5″ vertical, at The Opening Finals back in July. As a junior in 2017, he ran the ball 221 times for 1,586 yards and 22 touchdowns. He also caught 21 passes for 324 yards and 5 scores.

ADDED TO THE BOARD: 2019

Oakland (CA) Freedom running back Giles Jackson was offered by Michigan. He’s a 5’8″, 175 lb. prospect with offers from Oregon, UCLA, and USC, among others. He’s a 3-star, the #8 all-purpose back, and #727 overall. He claims a 4.53 forty, a 4.01 shuttle, a 35″ vertical, and a 265 lb. bench press. He took an official visit to Michigan this past weekend, just a couple days after being offered by the Wolverines.

Dunlap (IL) Dunlap tight end Josiah Miamen was offered by Michigan. He’s a 6’4″, 225-pounder with offers from Illinois, Iowa, Northwestern, Notre Dame, and Penn State, among others. He’s a 3-star, the #64 weakside end, and #912 overall, though the Wolverines are looking at him as a tight end. He earned his offer at Michigan’s camp a week ago, and then he took an unofficial visit this past weekend. Steve Wiltfong subsequently put in a crystal ball pick for Michigan.

Erick All – TE – Fairfield (OH) Fairfield: All is a 6’4″, 225 lb. prospect with offers from Iowa, Michigan, and Wisconsin, among others. He’s a 3-star, the #22 tight end, and #504 overall.

Karsen Barnhart – OT – Paw Paw (MI) Paw Paw: Barnhart is committed to Michigan (LINK). This is an unofficial visit.

Zach Carpenter – OG – Cincinnati (OH) Moeller: Carpenter is committed to Michigan (LINK). This is an unofficial visit.

Zach Charbonnet – RB – Westlake Village (CA) Oaks Christian: Charbonnet is a 6’2″, 215 lb. prospect with offers from LSU, Michigan, Notre Dame, Oklahoma, UCLA, and USC, among others. He’s a 4-star, the #15 running back, and #306 overall. He also visited in mid-March, and this is his official visit.

Lewis Cine – S – Cedar Hill (TX) Trinity: Cine is a 6’2″, 180 lb. prospect with offers from virtually every big-time program in the country, including Michigan. He’s a 4-star, the #3 safety, and #43 overall. He transferred from Massachusetts to Texas after his junior season. Penn State has 100% of the crystal ball picks. This is his official visit to Ann Arbor.
