Is this Gentry’s first visit to campus or a repeat? I appreciate the skepticism giving LDS/BYU connections but I have been hearing his name for a while now and he seems to be on the radar still. Just trying to suss out his level of interest. Not hard to drop in for an official but once you start making repeated visits it means you’re paying for yourself.
The Denver-Detroit connection is a pretty easy flight. The door-to-door time from home to hotel is only marginally different than going to school in Provo. The brother at BYU is 4 years older so they would not have much overlap.

Sounds like he’s returning on his own dime. He was originally supposed to decide back in June, right after his official to AA, but postponed it.
Clearly BYU is the favorite given the family and religious connections but I think Gentry’s interest in UM is real.

No defensive tackles … I have to believe they have some targets, but I can’t recall seeing any in your lists.
