Here’s an early look at the expected visitors for the upcoming BBQ at the Big House. I’m sure this list will change in the coming weeks, since the BBQ isn’t scheduled until the final week of July.

2019

Erick All – TE – Fairfield (OH) Fairfield: All is committed to Michigan (LINK).

Zach Carpenter – OG – Cincinnati (OH) Moeller: Carpenter is committed to Michigan (LINK).

Isaiah Foskey – TE – Concord (CA) De La Salle: Foskey is a 6’5″, 240 lb. prospect with offers from Alabama, Clemson, Michigan, Penn State, UCLA, and USC, among others. He’s a 4-star, the #5 tight end, and #177 overall. He was offered as a freshman by the Michigan staff, and he attends the alma mater of former Michigan tight end Devin Asiasi (who transferred to UCLA after one season in Ann Arbor).

Daxton Hill – S – Tulsa (OK) Booker T. Washington: Hill is a 6’0″, 187 lb. prospect with offers from virtually every big-time program in the country. He’s a 5-star, the #1 safety, and #8 overall. His crystal ball picks are 80% in favor of Oklahoma. UPDATE: Hill is no longer planning to visit for the BBQ.

Jamal Hill – S – Morrow (GA) Morrow: Hill is a 6’2″, 190 lb. prospect with offers from Alabama, Arkansas, Michigan, and Pitt, among others. He’s a 3-star, the #66 safety, and #870 overall. As a junior in 2017, he made 67 tackles, 7 tackles for loss, 3 interceptions, and 16 pass breakups.

Joshua Sanguinetti – S – Ft. Lauderdale (FL) University School: Sanguinetti is a 5’11”, 173 lb. prospect with offers from Auburn, Florida State, Georgia, Miami, Michigan, Nebraska, and Stanford, among others. He’s a 4-star, the #9 safety, and #164 overall. The crystal balls are 88% in favor of the Hurricanes.

David Baker – WR – Indianapolis (IN) Scecina Memorial: Baker is a 6’2″, 186 lb. prospect with offers from Ball State, Indiana, Iowa, Michigan, and Purdue. He’s a 3-star, the #103 wide receiver, and #573 overall.

RaeQuan Beal – QB – Detroit (MI) Renaissance: Beal is a 6’4″, 200-pounder with a lone offer from CMU.

Mookie Cooper – RB – St. Louis (MO) Trinity: Cooper is a 5’9″, 178 lb. prospect with offers from Alabama, Auburn, Georgia, Michigan, Ohio State, and Oklahoma, among others. He’s a 4-star, the #9 running back, and #83 overall.

Joshua Downs – WR – Suwanee (GA) North Gwinnett: Downs is a 5’10”, 165 lb. prospect with offers from Michigan, North Carolina, Oregon, and West Virginia, among others. He’s a 4-star, the #41 wide receiver, and #228 overall. He’s a teammate of 2019 Michigan cornerback commit D.J. Turner II.

Dallas Fincher – OG – Kentwood (MI) East Kentwood: Fincher is a 6’4″, 260 lb. prospect with offers from Iowa, Michigan, Michigan State, and Wisconsin, among others. He’s a 3-star, the #19 offensive guard, and #462 overall. Right now all three predictions are for Michigan State.

Traeshon Holden – WR – Baltimore (MD) St. Frances: Holden is a 6’3″, 195-pounder with offers from Florida, Maryland, and Michigan, among others. He’s a 3-star, the #58 wide receiver, and #299 overall.

Darius Jones – CB – Louisville (KY) Butler: Jones is a 5’9″, 160 lb. prospect with offers from Kentucky and Michigan.

Jaheem Joseph – CB – Opa Locka (FL) Monsignor Pace: Joseph is a 5’11”, 170-pounder with offers from Louisville, Michigan, and a few others.

    I thought there had been some chatter that Daxton was getting a lot more interested in Michigan?

      There’s talk of that, but it hasn’t resulted in much when it comes to actual predictions.

      Pretty tough to get a big time kid out of Oklahoma that the Sooners really want. Maybe even tougher than getting a Louisiana kid away from LSU.

        The same doesn’t necessarily apply to Kids from Michigan, at least not this year.
